    I've seen enough growth from him this year that I'm ready to pencil him in as a 3rd liner for the future. My opinion as well, also heavily biased with man crush. I agree that Stewart fits better on a 2nd scoring line than he does on a checking 3rd line.

    I think teams with back to back DFL finishes (hopefully) shouldn't really be worried about that... In an offer sheet, the first would have to be our own, which I am not willing to give up this year or next.

    I think our needs at RW and G will be filled via trade, whereas good Dmen are easier to come by in free agency. Not to mention GMTM has a lot a lot a lot of cap space to play with this Summer, so somebody has to get signed.

    He slacked off over the second half of a lost season, I've never held that against him but I know that more than a couple others on here did, so you're not alone. Ehrhoff is 40 mil richer thanks to the Sabres. I doubt the bridge is burned.

    I was under the impression that Ehrhoff was bought out because of the looming threat of cap recapture. Ehrhoff's name is coming up because he's the exact type of defenseman that our roster needs right now. I, personally, think he liked Buffalo because one time during warm ups I was right next to the glass drunkenly screaming EHRHOFF! EHRHOFF! ICH LIEBE DICH! He gave me a fist pound through the glass. If he signs with us this summer it's solely because of me.

    Easy with the "fans hate on every move" stuff. I didn't like the McCoy move and others did. There will be a split like that on almost every trade. I loved getting Rex and don't mind picking up Jory Cassel.

    I like CJ, but he's not anywhere near as complete a back as McCoy. I hope he finds a team that actually knows how to utilize his talent, because watching Hackett pound it down the middle with him was terrible.

    I'm seeing that it was this year's (better) 5th and next year's 7th for Cassel and a 6th. So basically a FA signing.

    The Blues had that, and they still shipped him out of town for being inconsistent. All players play better when surrounded by real talent, that doesn't make Stewart good. I'd rather play Nic Deslauriers in his spot.

    Signing locker, who's definitely a washout, and releasing EJ who's *probably* a washout is really dumb. I like Matt Cassel because he comes from a loyal family. Good Stark men.

    I have family in Philly and always have a good time whenever I visit. I'm just personally less suited to city life, so Buffalo is more my speed. And I love the cold.
