Savoie was always likely to start the season with the Sabres.
The door is wide open for Rosen or Kulich to get some valuable NHL experience right off the hop
From Hockey News
Strbak joined Slovakia again for the world under 18s and he helped the team to a fourth place finish while registering the hardest shot in the tourney. Is probably the best D in the USHL outside of the NTDP. He’s not flashy not sexy and he’s never going to run big numbers but he will break pucks out all night. he looks like a man and plays like a man he’s got that pro mindset. He projects as a bottom pair guy but isn’t getting out of the second round.

His size, skating and hard-nosed game intrigue and he feels like a late riser. He’s got the smarts and the right attitude, but is he a winger or Center in the NHL?
I don’t expect anything from Weissbach or Kisakov as Sabres at all
Rousek is also older and probably a 4th line guy
Out of the 7 left on your list; I’m sure 1 or 2 will get traded at some point.
I paid for the series on CHL tv. Hope I still have access to rewatch I thought that Savoie and Benson had a lot of good moments, just that the Seattle goalie had better
Would have loved some size but the reality is you take skill over size in round 1.
much easier to find 3rd and 4th line guys than guys who can be effective as a line 1 or 2.
