In the most important games of the season Skinner is dropped down to the 3rd line. they have Greenway on the 1st line but, I think we can agree ,he is better suited for the 3rd line begs the question. What to do with Jeff Skinner in the summer ? has a NTC, gets paid $9 for 3 more years, his defensive game is adequate at best. he is the teams oldest forward and isn't a great example for how the game should be played to the young players. At least in my opinion.

Your vets need to set a standard i would probably want them to switch Benson to 1st line and Greenway to 3rd skinner Krebs greenway as your 3rd line isn't terrible I don't think

thorny is correct though, just cause you are young doesn't mean one day you will be good I would suggest that it is important that the Sabres get older Organically everyone will be a year older but Olofsso nand Comrie will both be out and are 29. The 3rd line centre is going to have to be a vet and potentially they have to bring in a legit 1st line winger

Not sure him being a really good player is a surprise to people was consistent on the Sabres, the exact type of player they need on their PP right now. Willing to stand in front of the net and take a beating, toughness matched with elite hand-eye co-ordination. The current sabers have a guy with the size but but not the courage to stand in front of the net - Tuch and a guy willing to stand in front of the net but nowhere near the skill of Samon - Greenway. Hopefully Levi and Kulich will eventually damped the pain once they become NHL regulars

That back check by Benson on the Kadri 2-1 is why he has a roster spot on the Sabres next season and Skinner is 13th forward at best on my books
