my new complaint: I went to Wegmans for lunch today (as I usually do a few times a week). I bought myself a slice of Pizza to go and a can of Arnold Palmer to come back to eat at my desk and get more work done. well, as I'm checking out, the woman behind the counter accidentally knocks the can of AP off the counter, and instinctively, I thrust my hand out to catch it. Well, she instinctively did the same...with an added lunge over the counter to try to snag it as well, but instead, ended up hitting me square in the nuts. I wanted so bad to ask her what I did to her to deserve that...but couldn't muster anything more than a "humph". I sheepishly took my change and limped back to my car. This could be the start to a bad afternoon.

no. just the top comforter/quilt or whatever...maybe the second layer if it's bad. but you don't need to take the bottom sheet off, or that protective fabric thing that no one knows what it really does, but goes between the sheet and mattress anyways...much easier to wash just 1 MAYBE 2 blankets...then the whole shebang.

the first guy ordered a table as the first thing he did...but he didn't get one with the flip up power/internet hookups (think Xerox Aud in KGCOE at RIT). So I'm trying to get some to install myself, and am waiting to get the discounted prices (the prices they don't advertise), and I really can't afford to go into this proposal high on prices. I'm also waiting on the price for a guy to come in and take a gas line out of a wall. He is supposed to come in today to look at it. Dunno what the previous building owners used it for, but the gas line comes up the wall and sticks out like 8". after my last post though, I got my quote for price and delivery for a special whiteboard (custom size to fit the wall, with sliding panels), so I'm one step closer.

After my mom finished her Ph.D at Albany Med, she went to work at a lab at Cornell, and they pulled the same sh!t saying that the head of the lab had no right to negotiate with her as well. I thought it was dumb. She ended up going to industry after a few years and out of academic labs. Pay was slightly better for her anyways. As for me, I was given a project here at work: to propose all the necessary items for the new conference room (projector, screen, power and internet at the table, etc), since the person who had been working on it just stopped. well, it took him 2 weeks and an email from the president of the company to email me all the previous info he had, and to tell me he already ordered a projector (crappy one too). So now I'm working around/fixing his mess, and trying not to snap on him for being a complete d!ck about everything. and to make matters better, the president asked me to move up my timetable, and have the proposal to him by Monday...I haven't even gotten all the quotes back yet :doh:

that's a good point. I re-watched the episode last night, and they stress that Otis had been doing that for a while. Makes a little more sense now that most of Herschel's gang did not know who/what was in there.

that was my first thought when she walked out! They all knew that the group was looking for a missing girl. Made no sense to me. Honestly, with the way they were hyping up Herschel believing they were still people, I was expecting his wife to walk out and some dramatic shooting or him running after her, or something along those lines...I wasn't sure if it was going to be Sophia or not. Can't wait for the episodes to start back up in Feb!

Oh my god that bugs the hell out of me. some of my family members enjoy listening to the xmas music already...I? I cringe at the thought. I'll listen to some no sooner than the week before christmas...and then it's done.

I did watch the webisodes. I thought they were pretty decent. I don't want a ton of flashbacks every episode like in Lost, but maybe 1 or 2 here or there to fill in some back story would be cool I think.

I asked for a new sandwich when Wegmans did that to me. I usually don't complain much to the people who make my food, but a mistake like that is uncalled for! That blows. Ours used to do the same thing every spring and fall. it was all the sump pump could do to keep up. :death: good luck with that!

huh...I didn't even think about that! I really hope that the mid season finale sets up the next 6 episodes (in Feb :( ) well. I want to see the girl found, dead or alive, just to end this storyline because it's getting old. How long until you cut your loses in a world like that?! I also wanna know what the CDC doc told Rick! and lastly, some more flashbacks of the world going to crap would be awesome, as stated above. /vent

I'm guessing you know this person? That's pretty messed up. I wish I knew enough about the legal system to lend a hand because frankly, reading stupid sh!t like this makes me so mad :angry:

Not gonna lie, the drive is probably going to suck. The news this morning was saying that the next few days are some of the MOST traveled during the year, only being beat by one or two other holidays. Sorry...that probably doesn't help you any...but just being honest. And not getting your goal awarded blows. My complaint: the bad bronchitis I had last week forced me to use my last 2 days off for the year, and I had saved those days for this week and the week after xmas so that I could have really long weekends around the holidays, but nooooo, now I have no more days off, and I'm stuck here today with only half the company around...and of course it's the half that matters (upper management).

yupp. Especially after Lucic flat out said we would've responded to something like that. IMO he was saying, "Yeah, I ran him, and yeah, I was getting my team fired up." I hate to say it, but I hope a Sabre has the nerve to run Lucic next time they play...make it a dirty hit, then say, well, I was charging with my head down...didn't see him until the last second.

my guess was they started with 1 or a few more, then just fed other passerby's to them...which would explain why they have been "untouched" by the infection...

He definitely plants his right leg, turning it in, going knee to almost knee with miller, as he readies himself for a big blow. Miller looks like "Oh SH!T!" with his eyes closed

^This I looked at the poll on TSN and apparently 31% of those who submitted votes thought the hit to be clean and had no problem with it. I hope those are just people that don't like Miller or the Sabres...
