Nice! I'm always pumped for birthdays. I have no idea why either lol. Here's one for you!

To everyone who gave me "advice" last week before my date...thanks haha! everything went well, and still is going extremely well. Taking this one nice and slow. It's F'N Fantastic! In other news, I'm FINALLY getting onto the slopes tomorrow! first time this season. I cannot begin to express my level of excitement... :D

Wow, never heard of that! yeah, I'm lucky I signed up for the dental insurance this year thru my employer. Took care of my expenses yesterday (would've been well over $230). I was also told at the appt that I grind my teeth at night, and that Ineed to get a mouthguard to put in at night, much like an athletes mouth guard. meh. 1 meeting down. 2 to go...and only 3/3.5 hours left in the day :(

1) Just finished booking my hotels/flights for a business trip next week. traveling to CA/AZ. 4 nights/5 days. 4 different hotels...I'm going to be so dead from this business trip! 2) Dentists. 'nuff said. actually, not quite, long roots -> touching my sinuses -> causing pain... :death: 3) I have an afternoon full of meetings to discuss a plethora of useless things because the people that planned these meetings are very unorganized when it comes to mtg planning. :wallbash:

yupp. Here's something i've left off: I've known her brother and parents for probably 6 years now, but have only known her a very short amount of time in comparison (she was away at school) part of the reason I'm leaving early   I have a wine fridge full of variety...check  I live at my mom's house (well, kind of). She owns a raised ranch. I more or less rent out the downstairs, and my mom and sister live upstairs (well, when my sister isn't at school). I have a little more pressure to keep the pad clean, especially since the land lord lives upstairs... Thanks for all of the advice guys haha! I don't care what anyone else says, you guys are alright

Haha. very true. She's going to come over, and we're going to make homemade pizza and watch a movie I guess. She would rather do that than go out, and I like saving money so this girl is already a winner

Second date tonight! Took this girl out on Monday to dinner, and then coffee afterwards. Now we're doing date #2 tonight. I don't think we'll be somewhere with the game, but honestly, for once, I don't think I mind. Also, it's snowing, and I am leaving work at 1. F'N Fantastic!

I graduated with my Bachelors and Masters in Mechanical Engineering, and I am half working in my field. I am a sales engineer currently. I start the design process, and customer interactions (I'm an engineer with people skills, apparently that's hard to come by?) It's my first job, and I still have exposure to a lot of the tools I used at school, so it's not too bad. Yeah...we won't discuss my pre-21 drinking habits

Yeah. That's ######. Mine is thru DirectLoan or whatever, and my payment is $685/month. That doesn't include the ECSI RIT loan, that is another $125/ month. Student loans KILL me. Luckily I'm living at home, so I have no rent payments right now, because frankly, I'd be dead broke. I have a decent paying job, a little below average for my position, but enough to pay to this off in the 10 years. The way I get thru it, is looking at it like this: I started college at age 16, and graduated at age 21. I started paying the loans right after I turned 22. I will have all of my student loans paid off by the time i'm 32. Not too bad for going to RIT and having to pay myself since my parents didn't know how to save money before I came along.

Maytag is definitely the way to go. Best of luck :(

1) I see I'm not the only one that has appliance/electronics issues. 2) what make and model fridge, just out of curiousity. 3) regarding the Sabres, yes, they really are... :(

 Go on... My complaint: student loans, and how information is communicated to us borrowers. i.e. I had a payment bounce on accident because of a miscommunication between my bank and I regarding the change in account numbering. That was November. After fixing everything and setting up a manual payment, and another bouncing because of a reason that wasn't well explained to me (hence the complaint), it finally got paid around December 15th - 20th (second bounced payment was DEC 7). Then I had to make my December payment on Dec 28th. Fine. Payment went thru, apparently. Get an email today from the lender saying that one of my payments bounced. Now there are three possibilities over the last month+, but the email doesn't say which. I call them up and they are dumbfounded. It took me being on the phone for a half hour to finally get a second manager to confirm that the letter is from the bounced payment on the 7th. 1 FULL month later, I get a letter that the payment bounced. That seem effective to anyone else? :wallbash: Otherwise, I've lowered my expectations in life, and now have less complaints because I'm just having fun now a days :D

Subarus are reliable cars, and used models that are few years (greater than 2) shouldn't be too expensive. My friend bought a 6 year old Subaru, had about 70K miles, and ran just like it was new for 3 years, until big ol' Bambi decided to commit suicide about a month ago. Deer was big enough that the entire hood crumpled, and the frame got torqued to the point that the insurance company totaled the car. safety features all worked though. It was great with the snow, and it was the car I actually learned to drive manual with.

Congratulations!!

Major kudos to you. That is definitely F'N Fantastic!

bump I missed this last week but good luck!

HAHA! There are no words. I'm glad my friends and I did not make wagers like this

That's rather gross. Not gonna lie.

Thank you, the support is much appreciated.

WOW! that's ridiculous! any way your girl can move out, or even better, kick the other girl out?! It probably goes without say, but it's more than likely a good thing you WERE there. My complaint today: my two friends that were engaged officially split. I am now caught in the middle (where I had worked to keep out of), and I am trying to help him more so than her, as she has a network of friends. He is a complete wreck and I was up half the night just talking with him about the whole thing. Now that I got him calm, I've got the rest of the was to be wedding party getting a hold of me asking for details. I have been very vague so far as to what specifically is going on, but have made it clear that they are done. I am trying to shield them as much as possible from the endless onslaught of people asking for "juicy details." Being the best man does have down side... :( To make matters better, I need to get a hold of Men's Warehouse and see if they will refund us groomsmen any of our payment towards the Tuxedo rental... :( He still has to go spend the weekend skiing with his family :death: , and is going to break the news to them this weekend. I'm almost 100% positive I will be getting a phone call or two for moral support since I'm not going with.

Love this song. It's been stuck in my head since the first time i heard it.

She had the paint for like 2 weeks. FInally painting right now actually lol. She keeps asking me for updates though haha
-
That's the exact thing my sister said! haha! I asked her if she wanted to go watch the game with me, and she was like, "meh, I'd rather repaint my bedroom, I have the stuff, and them losing just gives me the motivation to do other things!" haha!

WOAH! it's Friday! second three day weekend in a row (no work Monday B-) ) Quiet day at work today, and lack of people here means I may even be able to duck out early without anyone noticing :clapping:
