Never played fantasy hockey before. Which league should I do? Blue?
Blue gives you more bench players and allows you to claim more players off waivers
Gold gives you only 2 bench spots and only 2 waiver claims per week so it requires you to be a bit more savvy.
If you have never played fantasy hockey before I would recommend blue this year just to learn how it works

Well UGA decided to screw up a routine field goal which would come back later and cost them the game... freaking great... morons.
FSU on the other hand was a 10.5 pt favorite in their game and turned around and destroyed PITT 41-13 behind the play of Jameis Winston who was 25/27 for 356 yards. Let me just say that game was awesome and I look forward to watching more FSU ball.

You can't go wrong traveling along the South Carolina low country from Charleston and down into Savannah Georgia. St. Augustine Florida isn't too far away from Savannah and that's a jewel too.
Lots of history and beautiful scenery.
The ladies in Charleston are an extra added bonus.
Savannah is great and I recommend spending at least a couple days here (no open container laws).
If you do want Beer, swing over to Asheville NC, not sure how out of your way it would be but great beer town and I am planning a trip there soon.

Its friday, football season has begun and I get to watch Georgia at Clemson tomorrow and then FSU beat up Pitt on monday, on top of that i get to spend 4 straight days with the girl...

You want to reduce the offensive categories so you can be able to draft some Sabres don't you?
I'd have to chop off a bunch of non-offensive options then so as not to turn it into a goalie/trap league.
Right now there are something like 11 offensive categories and 4 gt ones, changing that to 8 and 4 still doesn't make it a goalie league. I was just thinking that scoring a ppg should not net you 4 points (potentially). Have 1 overall points category but not one for each sub category. Also since short handed g/a are rare as is just make it short handed points. It is your league so you can do what you want but you asked for suggestions so thats all I had.

Sweet was going to ask about this, I am very pumped for this years draft.
Can you please restrict some of the offensive categories... I think last year we had G/A/pts/PPG/PPA/PPP/SHG/SHA that is 8 categories solely for offensive production. It seemed a little much to me. I mean for every PPG your guy scored you got points in 4 categories. G/A/PPG/PPA/SH(goals or assists) and total points seems more than adequate.

Looking at the Bills schedule I think they go 4-12. They get 1 random win sometime early in the season and they beat the jets and dolphins. Outside of that, this team lacks the depth, talent, or drive to do much more.

Okay so they started construction on the opposing corner from my building closing the sidewalk. Now behind the construction site are quite a few dorms and I work in the single busiest building on campus minus the stadium. So naturally the road out front has a lot of pedestrians crossing. With the 1 sidewalk closed everyone has to cross on one side and cars waiting to turn left can't because of the foot traffic. Instead of finding a solution they have posted 2 cops on my side to yell at students crossing from the other side once the little white walker guy disappears and a 20second countdown begins. They are threatening J-walking tickets because it is illegal for you to enter a crosswalk once the red countdown begins... seriously every single light they are stopping and yelling at anyone who sees the countdown and goes. They have whistles too and will sometimes yell across the road to tell people to stop... here is ###### idea, instead of having a 20 second countdown, make it 10 and then give 10 seconds of angry red hand up while cars still turn left. HOLY ###### I solved the problem and it took me a whole 10 seconds!

See those of you who have tasted the watermelon beer know of what I speak. It is mild watermelon taste and like I said not bad on a hot day. Would I go tailgating with the stuff? Not a chance in hell but it isn't bad everyone once in awhile.
As for pumpkin beers, I like them for October and November than I am good. Cigar City Good Gord Pumpkin Ale is my favorite. Again not something I drink regularly but I might start a cool fall night with one.

I am not a big fan of fruity beers (even though it looks like I am with Peach and Watermelon and Blueberry beer over the summer). I really enjoy Belgian wheat, Belgian reds and Irish reds And I have a fondness for some stouts. That being said anyone looking for 1st amendment brewery stuff

It has him about 4 spots below the start of the guys that probably won't make the NHL. Did you think his ceiling was higher? (I have no idea how good he has looked)
I will clarify. I was interested in the ranking because many on this board love Makarov who was ranked below Ullmark. I however really love Ullmark so I just found it interesting someone else ranked him above Makarov. The juxtaposition was the reason for my comment.

I did and I have to say for a light summer beer it was refreshing and the watermelon was not overpowering. May try some more of their beers if I can locate them on the east coast.

I found the Ullmark ranking interesting.
Also Zadorov has higher potential than McCabe... if Zadorov became solid like McCabe with is size... I'd be happier than a augustus gloop at a candy factory.

Am I the only one who found it interesting that Grigorenko was not discussed in that video?
Girgensons compete is top of the line. I think he could be a very good #2 center some day and I think he will be an animal in the NHL. I also really liked seeing how in depth the go with these guys. The skating and stick holding stuff as well as the obvious positional things. That skating coach sounded like she knew what she was talking about.
Best thing going for the Sabres right now... of course if they can produce awesome videos like this than it means they can produce awesome 3rd jerseys and an awesome team right?

Tyler Myers on SHH. He openly admits that he was not prepared for last season and that is his fault. Also he knows he needs to work harder and said it doesn't matter that he knows it if he doesn't show up and actually do it.

Currently preparing my predraft list... it is interesting see who does what on teams and how those stats shake out. There are some guys that are monsters and other guys you look at their numbers and its like? How? Well I shall keep plugging away.
