  1. We're not going to get out shot 45-3. We weathered the storm. They had two days off. We'll be fine.
  2. No way, if you travel from detroit to chicago, you land about 5 minutes before you took off.Clearly you have traveled back in time to get there.
  3. Future? Game starts at 3 for him, clearly he's a little behind. We'll be through the first intermission by then!
  4. NO. Enroth must start tomorrow. Bad precedent. We don't have 2 days off in a row until valentines day.
  5. Key game against a team we're chasing. we are now exactly halfway through a season (41 games to go) and on the outside looking in. Get 4 points this weekend and we're in 4th with a good read on the division lead.
  6. Corey Tropp and Joel Armia provide the depth at RW for the near future. I'm comfortable with that. The myth that Tyler Myers has been in some sort of 2 year decline is insane. Tyler is developing into a top 2 offensive defenseman 2009-2010 was a stellar rookie year, indisputable 2010-2011 he finished 32nd among defensemen in pts. That's top 2 by any stretch. 2011-2012 he was injured for a huge chunk of the season, and it had a major impact on the team (going sub .500 with him out, 9-12 I think) Despite the lost time, he still finished with 23 points, good for 70th among defensemen (there are 60 top pair defensemen in the league) His pace put him to 34 points if he hadn't been injured. which would have been good for 29th. his 109 points make him the 94th highest scoring active defencemen. he is the 7th highest scoring defenseman with 5 or fewer seasons (he has 3) He trails only Karlsson of players with 3 or fewer seasons He is 27th among all active defensemen with .49 ppg His cap hit is in line with a top pair offensive defenseman and he has been playing like a top pair offensive defensman for since he came in. He is struggling in his own end right now, and it is effecting his game, but I am certain that this is a rough patch, and not a degradation in his potential.
  7. If I could have everyone healthy I'd make the lineup look like this Vanek-Hodgson-Pominville Ott-Ennis-Stafford Foligno-Grigorenko-Leino Kaleta-McCormick-Scott Ehrhoff - Sulzer Myers - Regher Sekera - Weber Extras- Brennan, Leopold, Hecht (Rotates with McCormick) Gone - Ellis (waivers), Gerbe(Trade or Waivers)
  8. I was being sarcastic, which never works on the internet. The NESN guys were going on about how all the Bruins add something more than just toughness. Shawn Thornton adds nothing to the team. If he can't fight he can't play.
  9. Cause Shawn Thornton Scored 10 Goals one year and averages 9 minutes to Scotts 7. He's a real player, adds value to the team beyond his enforcing!
  10. Tired Gay succumbs to Dix You're welcome.
  11. I'll say it right now, Vanek and Pominville will score more points from now untill they all retire than the Sedins. They are now better than the Sedins, and unlike the sedins, they are still improving.
  12. I know for certain it's used in several local pizza chain recipes. It's faster to mix and has a longer shelf life and won't separate. You get more homogenous colored wings and more homogenous flavor.
  13. Everyone on this board is going to have to get used to the fact that Jason Pominville and Thomas Vanek have developed into Elite Talent.
  14. Dude, they finished 9th and still picked Grigs. Cut 'em some damn slack.
  15. It was Dr. Ruth Westheimer :w00t:
  16. a lot of wing places use bluebonnet liquid margarine in place of butter.
  17. A weekend full of games at times that I can enjoy the full 60 minutes with my boys. Five year old hockey fans are F'n Fantastic.
  18. The only possible outcome is a embellishment warning for "doin' the dougie" Not one in the NHL office would ever believe Drew Stafford came across the ice and knocked an NHL player on their ass.
  19. People forget about this. Twas a key moment in the trajectory of Sabres History.
  20. You're saying he put the vanek line out as cover for calling the time out. If this is true, Lindy earns one respect point back from me tonight.
  21. Ellis is a waste of a roster spot. that is all.
  22. the fight. it was perfect. it was poetry. let that be the thing that sets the tone for the rest of the season.
