  1. Any word on Shawn Thornton? We're they able to remove John Scott's knuckles from his face?
  2. I believe we just won the points game and the "toughness" game. Next step, learn to play defense!
  3. This is a stretch analogy. Even for you.
  4. No where in that audio does anyone say the word "bear" you posted a star trek reference. you get to be the nerdy cousin who shows up with a book to read in the corner.
  5. See! You're the cool uncle who breaks the tension with a well timed joke. :)
  6. Come on! we're so close to letting a batshit crazy retired goalie ruin a GDT! Let's keep going! #nopoliticsatfamilygatherings #sorryifistartedit
  7. We're Doomed! /ChuckieFinster Seriously, any lineup changes on our side? defense?
  8. The question I have: If Hodgson is not making an impact on the ice, just how good are Vanek and Pominville? One of the top lines in the league, and basically playing a man down. If Grigorenko improves this year and next and ends up being a difference maker on that line...
  9. Being the least sick person in a house full of sick people sucks.
  10. I don't think you can intimidate the bruins with hits or fights alone. If they can't control the flow, despite their physical game, that will frustrate them. I want to see them resorting to bs fights to try and spark their team. I want to see them playing outside their game to try and get something going. I want Rat Face to trip coming over the boards and lose a few chicklets in the ensuing face plant.
  11. Weber's Instigator from tuesday is a problem. He'll be cautious.
  12. I don't hate boston. I hate Rat face and his BS. I hate Tim Thomas and His Political Views I don't hate Lucic. I hate the bull ###### relationship between the league and gregory campbell's team. Win this. Just win the game.
  13. There is a difference between effective aggression and stupidity. Teenage boys often have difficulty differentiating the two. It something to do with the frontal lobe not being fully developed until the mid-twenties.
  14. Just to clarify myself, I am not positive about the current play of the team. I am hopeful because the game last night was lost to technical correctable problems, not difficult to correct confidence/passion issues. I still wouldn't oppose a coaching change, as long as a previously cup winning coach was ready and willing to take over immediately. If not, go ahead and do it in may if they're not still playing.
  15. This is an adolescent mentality. You play to win championships. Sometimes that means protecting your position in the standings. Every single team in the league would do the same thing at this point in the season.
  16. Oh, I believe you. There is no way any one human wants this team to win the cup more than you or I do.
  17. I'm not as familiar with this one as I was with the quote from yesterday that you were blatantly spinning to fit your myopic hockey worldview. You're safe for now.
  18. Yes, it was Myers's other worldly play that made that season. Myers. Totally. Myers. Fueled by Myers.
  19. I agree with you. I saw improvement in a lot of things that had been bothering me about the team. Active Defensemen and puck possession foremost among them. We controlled most of the game and lost on a few critical errors. Leo Sekera and Grigs had huge breakdowns that lead directly to goals. On Miller's first rough night of the season, there just wasn't enough to bail them out of those mistakes. The team i saw last night can win some games by cleaning up just a handful of individual plays.
  20. He's a consensus Top 5 draft pick who slipped because of a perception of being lazy. If he works hard, he'll be bronze in 30 years.
  21. Yup. That's the one.
  22. That's not what he said at all. He said you can hit all you want, but it's more important to win the battles for the puck. The comment was in response to a reporters question about how the Sabres had a lot of hits in a loss. People didn't fall in love with Marcus last year because he laid down big hits. They love him when he wins the puck in the corner and gets it out to ennis or stafford. Take the red pill man. Your world is an illusion.
  23. He probably would have played had he not spent so much time under Lindy.
