  1. Yeah, that's what a stay of enforcement means.
  2. Yes, running late is smart. But you could tell the jags exactly what play your going to call and still get 198. The Bills have a strong running game, but they still need a QB to be a strong team.
  3. NSA collection of Domestic Phone Records Declared Unconstitutional
  4. The NO and Miami games were two of the team's worst rushing games of the season, even the Bengals game was below average. The bills are 4th in the league in rushing yards because they are #1 in the league in rushing attempts, almost 100 more attempts than the league average.
  5. Just an arrow pointing down with the words "here be dragons"
  6. It'll be interesting to see what it is at Game 41. I'm not sure about puck luck. Stafford has been able to maintain his ridiculously low shooting% for like 150 games. That's not bad luck.
  7. Ok, so what is the league wide range of ff? Is 2 Pts significant? I'm trying to put your numbers in context. (The math works out to a 40.8 for Nolan if you treat all games as equal.)
  8. Is the 39 the current level for the season, or the level since teddy took over?
  9. I spit coffee everywhere when i read this. nice.
  10. I think McCarron would be a good pick @ 37. (Anthony Barr at 5.) Bridgewater and Carr will be gone in the first 3, and Johnny Football is a disaster waiting to happen for some dumb team.
  11. You are dead to me.
  12. Men only lead for a finite time. Culture is the long-term driver of change. The supreme leader may be hardline, but he was put in power by the youth of the 1970s. 40 years later, the youth are different. The culture is different. There is reason for hope.
  13. Oil producers would not care about the single largest oil customer in the world if not for Israel? I don't follow.
  14. And as a regional check against Iran. I still think the deal is worth the risk diplomatically, if it fails we're just back where we were. Politically, if it fails, it's a disaster.
  15. Legally required to spend a certain percentage on care or rebate it to the consumers (90% I think?) Friend in Colorado got $150 back last year. So profits are capped in that way. Israeli, Saudi, and Qatari Trust and Military Cooperation? Statistically speaking, the Democrats we TERRIBLE at employing this tool. I don't see what they really gave up, and with the number of seats the GOP will be defending in 2016, I don't see a real risk given that Obama will still be president until then, and then the GOP will either run a moderate candidate like Christie, or lose a bunch of senate seats when the top of the ticket brings everyone else down. Either way, you don't really have a risk of some sort of Crazy conservative appointee flood.
  16. I'll continue to be the wet blanket. Two scoring drives longer than 60 yards, and one was a total accident. Not a good day by the offense.
  17. I would not pass on a strong QB at the next few drafts of one is available.
  18. If I have to wait until they win to tell you that EJ is not a franchise guy, I'm gonna lose it...from waiting...a long time...
  19. I can't wrap my head around the logic that leads to these three posts on the same day.
  20. They were set to abruptly stop increasing and, in fact, experience an extended period of significant deflation just before the ACA was passed, but then that single law passed in 2009 ruined everything for everyone and now no one has a job anymore.
  21. No doubt, but it wasn't caused by the inability of congress to do it's job. Which was my original contention. Again. They were a terrible congress, and Pelosi was a bad speaker. But the government stayed open and the to key issues that faced that congress (Iraq and The Financial Collapse) were at a minimum, addressed. Now you have a congress that couldn't pass a war resolution on December 8th, 1941 and would die of old age at the diner counter arguing about the tip. the 110th's solutions are debatable and probably a mixed bag as far as results, but at least they were trying to do their jobs. Facebook crashed this week and more people noticed. These are not the droids you are looking for.
  22. No government shutdown and some significant and necessary legislation passed despite disagreements (funding of the troop surge, Bank stabilization). Can you imagine handing this congress the financial collapse in Sept of 2008? They'd do nothing and watch it burn. They weren't legislative all stars by any stretch, but yes, I'd say the 110th congress was significantly higher functioning than today's congress or the one that set the record for days of partial government shutdown.
  23. Gerrymandering effects 1/2 of congress which is 1/3 of the Government. Surely the above exaggerates it's effect on the Federal Government. Gerrymandering explains nothing of the Senate, the White House, and by corollary the Supreme Court.
  24. They are window dressing for you. They are core foundation issues for gay americans, African American voters, immigrants with undocumented family members, etc. and the lives of the first two i mentioned there have changed significantly in the last 2 years.
