They are in a playoff spot nearly 20 points ahead of Buffalo. To me, that is light years. Buffalo has been at least 20 points out of 8th place by end of December 3 or 4 years in a row. That is literally 4 months minimum of meaningless hockey played in this city. I am actually shocked the the building is not more empty right now.

The most baffling part of this whole "rebuild" is that the Rangers, Ducks, Kings and Sharks are already light years ahead of Buffalo. It only took those teams 2 years to get back on track and Buffalo continues to get worse every year.

The difference this time around is that I am not hoping they lose, I guess I just don't really care if they do or not.

Not much to say as I don't watch anymore (actually I turned it on once I saw they went to OT) but at this point, I am back on the might as well keep losing train. With 3 months left in the season and nearly 20 points from 8th, it really doesn't matter. Half the team will be gone in July and you just have to hope that by 2023 season, they have enough talent to battle for the 8th spot.

Any team that can turn die hard Sabre fans into one's that don't even have interest in hockey anymore is truly something special.

I can't possibly watch until next season but I gotta say, you people that are still clinging on to this train wreck have my utmost respect as hockey fans. Only a few years ago I could not fall asleep for hours after a tough loss and now, it feels like the team has already moved to a different city.

You really cannot blame the players, they just aren't any good.

For the first time in my entire 50 years of life, I totally forgot the Sabres even had a game. It was against the Bruins and my jaw Hit the Floor the next morning when I saw they had played. What has become of me...I am actually fear that I have lost the love of hockey 😞

Only 4 points away from 2nd worst record in the NHL. And they might even drop to the basement by January 1. The amount of ineptitude to actually pull that off for yet another year is truly remarkable.

We were watching Rudolph, my son switched to Sabres, saw that it was 2-0 and says....nope. so so sad that this organization has destroyed the Fandom in this house.

Don't want losses either but they are inevitable. There will be no progress until next year unfortunately.
