The Bruins always seem to play down to the Sabres but yet always seem to come out on top most of the time....not a good sign

I would take an OT loss right now if i could. Hopefully Jack is a back by tuesday...at least Columbus lost last night.

Unless I am looking at the standings wrong, there is no cushion anymore. If Montreal and the Isle win tonight, the Sabes are in 9th..............Isle is in 9th right now

Not sure how much more I will be able to stomach if this triggers another lengthy losing streak....I may just step away for a bit as I have a baaad feeling that not only will Montreal and the Isle pass us tonight, but Florida in due time as well.

What I mean is that he will have to decide if it will be worth giving up possible future assets to try and make the playoffs this year or if he stays patient and fixes the 2nd line over the Summer. I vote for waiting one more year to see what another offseason brings as I think this team is too talent depleted to make it in the top 8 any time soon. I really do not think they leap back into a spot once they lose it...which could be as early as tonight.

Montreal and Islanders probably have easy wins tonight so a Sabres loss most likely puts them in 9th. That would reaaalllyyyy be a downer and a big reality check for this GM.

I am the eternal optimist in everything but sports ? I have seen this path before and this Sabres team does not have what it takes to get back in the race

Should be really fun as we drop to 9th tomorrow night and look up at teams that we never thought would catch us. The question now is would you rather take 9th or just continue to drop. Playoffs are dead as all the teams that are ahead are miles in front of Buffalo talent-wise.

This team is not making playoffs this year. They need to wait and bring up kids next year. Trade for a #2 center in the Summer or wait for FA
