  1. Any chance he's going to be able to play tonight? I know there was talk he had some immigration issues but I haven't heard any update on that yet.
  2. I'd be okay with keeping Stewart, FWIW. Fills a position of need and is young enough to build around. Stewart and Myers are the only pieces being talked about that I hope stick around.
  3. I like Moulson but it sounds like the Sabres/Murray have seen him as a trade chip exclusively. If the aforementioned LA talk is true, I think I'd be okay with that. Get what you can.
  4. https://twitter.com/...838612049862656 Earlier this AM, LeBrun seemed surprised that the rentals haven't moved off the board yet, and said that teams are waiting for the prices to come down. Seems counterintuitive though, no?
  5. I'm on board with the "everyone is tradeable" mantra, with the possible exception of Hodgson. I really think he's someone to build around. But I'd still listen to offers there too. I just don't see DR as operating like he's going to be gone after the season, nor do I expect him gone. So I'm guessing none of the "big three" move.
  6. I think the Sabres got a good return here, but to me having a spot for Pysyk is a big part of this as well. Echo, lol.
  7. IIRC the Mets are still paying Bobby Bonilla and will for another decade or so. Crazy.
  8. Seeing quit is subjective I suppose but there is a clear disconnect between the level of talent and how it is being expressed on the ice. To me, it's sad that the fans are now blaming each other for such a debacle. When the fans turn on each other, or 'blame' each other as being an element of the team's woes, that's rough. Again, give the fans something - anything - to cheer about, .
  9. I don't think that's quite fair. If this team gave the fans even a modicum of consistent effort to cheer for, they'd be on the warpath (ooh-ahh). This town isn't even asking for a winner, they just want a team that demonstrates the same blue collar work ethic that in many respects defines the city and defined the team for a good portion of its history.
  10. True, and I'd be in favor of it here. I just don't see Pominville being stripped of the C as long as he's on the team.
