I have no problem with people maximizing their own income, I encourage it. But these jobs that are entry level positions (college jobs, etc) are now paying what we could have only hoped to make in an actual career. The issue is, those with degrees and "non-entry" level jobs are not seeing the same boost in pay, further shrinking the middle class. I know my career pays well, and I have dearly payed for my piece of paper, but I haven't seen even a modest cost of living raise in nearly 7 years. Tim Hortons employees should not make more than a trained Paramedic, point blank.

Getting paid 18/hr to flip burgers is just one issue. People think they can control the pay now.

Needs to be shot through a glory hole.

Yearly medical conference, this year is Costa Rica. Not much conferencing going on 😂😂 I found this amazing passion fruit Pale ale and an amazing Saison at a local brewery here, I stocked my rental car with a bunch and smuggled them poolside into the hotel 😂

I got sunburnt through SPF 50.... That's my biggest compliant right now, so life is pretty good.

I think this gets to the crux of it, society has changed and I think we're going to be hearing a lot more things come out now.

I'm curious, I get that abusive workplaces are not good at all, they shouldn't exist, but they do. This doesn't excuse it, but being the big shot on a sports team, doesn't that come with the territory? Coaches and GM's in every sport yell, universally across the globe. Even here, after a bad game I hear a lot that the coach should show no mercy, bag skate the players until they puke, etc etc. Is it really OK to physical abuse a player in that manner but they can't handle some yelling? I know I'm simplifying this whole thing, but there has to be something more than some verbal abuse to get canned here.

Cozens and Dahlin are brutal right now..... Idk what to do with 26, he's been here for a minute, seems to be regressing hard. Cozens has some hope at least. This game was a sad spectacle of choking

Time to watch the classic Halloween flick

Listened to Granato on Wgr on my drive in, he's really in tune with the team and seems to have realistic expectations. He mentioned cozens has talent and drive but they're both too far ahead of his experience and he needs sheltering still. He also mentioned that Dahlin playing more minutes forces him to be calmer and more efficient as he knows he cant just press for 14 minutes hard and make mistakes. Clearly he's POd about the Stamkos hit, he didn't comment. He said even though they looked outgunned in the 1st and 2nd he was never worried and kept pushing the team to push back, very refreshing. Actual hockey talk.

So, I don't think we're tanking, not in the least.
