If you're ever in Cleveland, stop at the Ice House Tavern 10036 Brookpark Road in Brooklyn, Ohio. It's right off I-480 and right near Barons Bus Lines Arena, where your kid might play.
Their mild wings with blue cheese are the best wings I've ever had, and I've taken several Western New Yorkers there who agree. Give 'em a try. You won't be sorry you did!

There’s something to be said about a comedian who can be very funny and “clean“... it’s very hard to do… And the master of that would be Bill Cosby.
for me… Dave Chapelle is up there.
I think an alternate list would be the best comedians who were born After 1970 ?
Richard Pryor
George Carlin
Don Rickles
Eddie Murphy
Sinbad - never swears (not that I mind swearing at all). He's a great stand-up comedian. Watch any of his specials on the streaming services. Well worth it.
No particular order, mind you.

I think they will be on their way out soon in today's ever changing world. If not they will be required to higher an equal number of men and they will be given proper appropriate uniforms for clearing the ice.
I've been shocked that the OHL team around here has cheerleaders at their game, the biggest issue is that the cheerleaders are similar ages to the players which puts them in Highschool...
This is the Sabres and the Pegulas, they probably will spend a bunch of time and money into putting together a team of Ice Girls right before the league and society does away with them.....
Soon enough there'll be no more strip bars. These are truly end times.

Sabretooth is alright. How about upgrade Keybank Center and change the damn goal song already!!
It doesn't get played enough to bother anyone.

Now is not the time for billionaires to make light of job loss. The ownership has often seemed out of touch with the regular populace -- "lifestyle" comments, etc. The optics of this would not help them.
Things that are not the problem with the Sabres operation: 1. Eichel. 2. Sabretooth.
Correction: 1. Eichel. 2. Dahlin. 3. Olafsson. 4. Reinhart. 5. Sabretooth.

I'm listening to the Instigators right now for the first time in a long time. Craig Rivet with a really crappy internet connection is an interesting step up from his usual self.
"Eyn gonna tell ya ... "
I cringe every time I hear him say that.

Way back when I was DCSabres (lived outside DC) and the 05-06 Sabres' season started:
Ottawa Scores - Lydman couldn't get it out...He couldn't get it out because the Senator next to him chopped his stick in half. Should've been a penalty. Not saying Lydman has shown me anything thus far, but not getting that puck out on the 2nd try was a result of his sticking being snapped in two by a slash. You could see Campbell coming over to the ref on the play and yelling about it, and then Briere talking to McCreary at the following face-off about it.
I saw a lot more hooking NOT getting called tonight than I saw in the first two games. I fear that the new rules are going to go away and clutching and grabbing will return. I hope I'm wrong.

Regarding Simmonds: he looked like late-stage Moulson to me. I don't think he can keep up with the game any longer.
Haha! We can now refer to a player as having End-Stage Moulson's disease.

The Sabres are too slow all over the ice. Watch other teams fly, then watch our guys skate in the mud.
Dahlin is a beautiful skater, but very slow.
Overall team speed is lacking in my opinion.

So perhaps Turris isn't the right player. It was an example of a player with term that has his warts but would be an upgrade. We can all disagree on the merits of my argument with him per say. However, waiting until unrestricted free agency guarantees nothing when we're a laughing stock around the league. When a former retired goon of a player on his first televised trade deadline day, makes a crack about Buffalo involving Simmonds. It shows some sort of merit of the frustration I'm coming from. I am in no way trying to disrespect other posters. But, we're putting square pegs in round holes. Botterill needs to go!
Who's the goon player? At work, can't watch.

I believe the Sabres take this game, 4 to 2. Eichel shows up on the goal sheet a couple of times.
Almost perfect. Nice work Scotty!

Just LTIR him already. Like, for the rest of his contract. Another $hitty gift left for us by Tim Murray.

Interns ...

Looked bad. I hate seeing that for him - he's been fantastic at both ends of the ice. I do think that Asplund looked pretty good with Jack and Sam in 68's absence, though.

This start time is less than desirable. I know the Bills game isn't doing them any favors but I can't just remove 7 hours of my life on a Saturday afternoon 4 days before Christmas.
Inky Inky Inky - DVR it and watch in the evening. Skip the commercials and icing delays too!

How does the Fubo location work? Is it IP-based, or could I set my home location to say my parents' house back in the Buffalo area? My rental won't let me install a dish, so the only way for me to get the Bills games (Sabres aren't a problem because reasons) is to go to a bar. I'm not opposed, mind you, but I don't want to have to go every Sunday.
Set up a VPN between your house and your parents' house. Make your parents' house your gateway. Boom, you're "In Buffalo." Will cost you some equipment on each end, and perhaps will need higher speeds on each ISP account, but it would work.
Would probably be cheaper and less hassle to get IPTV, Area 51 perhaps, to have EVERYTHING. The only thing I don't like is there is not yet a DVR for IPTV that you can set ahead of time. (That I know of).

How do you not catch the holes in your game? Do you not have an analytics department? How the ***** do you not notice the sky high sv% coupled with mediocre HDSC%? Hell most of us figured it out from our parents basement while eating hot pockets and playing video games.
You forgot to mention that other thing we do in our parents' basements ...

I always knew Skinner was a good goal scored, but only watched him when he played against the Sabres. Having watched him for 9 games now, I am very impressed with his grit, determination, puck handling, and especially his skating. He has wowed me may times already in this young season.
You don't let players like this leave your organization.
Okposo is too slow for the NHL anymore. He's a boat anchor hanging around JBOT's neck.
-
All the facial damage was done because he was completely unconscious when he went down. His face hit the ice. This HAS to be suspension-worthy. This is NOT the first time Hartnell has done this to a Sabre. He did it when he was on the Blue Jackets in a game against Buffalo. I can't remember when or who the Sabre was, but I do remember a similar hit.

I'll admit I was expecting them to get run out of the barn in Nashville. It started to look that way at 2-1 and 3-1, but give 'em credit, they stuck with it.
Great win, boys. Where has this been all year?
-
He looks like a boy. And look how he holds that pen.
JBOT looks like a used car salesman that just met his first sucker.
And what he's writing with that pen unlocks $2,700,000.00 or thereabouts. I'd be smiling like a baby, too!

Larsson needed to be gone 3 years ago, he's not an NHL player. He turns the puck over constantly... he can't catch a pass to save his life, he can't pass, he can't hit the net, he's not particularly quick or fast, he's not a shutdown guy, he's not big and mean, he has a negative TRpm... why he's in the lineup I have no idea. The only thing he's half-way decent at is face-offs at 53.7%.
Larsson sucks, so ... yeah to this ^

Commitment to defense, bigger goalies and bigger goalie equipment. The butterfly and shot blocking by all players makes it nearly impossible to score these days. Gretzky would come nowhere close to what he did in today's NHL, but he'd still be a top player in the league.
What does Jeff Skinner think about the signing?

Playing on the second line is actually easier due to the defensive match-ups. Skinner should have a banner year.
