Especially replacing Eakin and Irwin.  Can’t wait to see it (hopefully).

Eakin is my new whipping boy.  He is completely useless out there and he's on the ice at the end of every period, it seems.  WHY?  Every time they get hemmed in, Eakin is on the ice.  I know we're short of players, but stop putting him out there against the other teams' top lines, especially at home.  That's the only complaint I have so far regarding DG's coaching.

I wanted Caufield. I still can’t believe he fell as much as he did. I’m happy with Cozens. I think Caufield will probably put up better numbers, but Cozens will do much more for us.

When I watch Cozens, it feels as if I'm watching a young Jonathan Toews.  The kid is fast, skilled, tough, and gritty.  What's not to like?

I mean, it's reality.  You don't want to accept it?

I get frustration but how do people refuse to accept the salary cap explanation?

R2 is with the team and practicing at least.  This will improve his insertion into the lineup once they make the required changes to their salary cap structure by making trades.

Hell, why does it even matter if he plays tonight or in two games?  The season is lost and he'll have plenty of opportunity to prove his fit, even if its two games from now.

    I see what you're saying.

If we didn't have so many high dollar/low result players we'd be in better shape.

Why is McCabe not on LTIR?

You could do that. I'd be hesitant though.

    Tell me why.

With Dahlin and Bryson we have enough "offensive defensemen."  We don't need one on each pair.  We need defenders who are tough to play against.

I assume you've watched in awe as our team struggles to gain possession in our own zone and we all think to ourselves, "Here it comes" about 10 seconds before a goal is scored.  Enough of that already.

Sam had too much time to think there.

Thought Casey's shot went in too

While controlling the rebound, Clifton made a desperation lunge with his stick and deflected the shot into the netting.  Great play by him and typical of the Sabres this year.

It amazes me how poorly these guys pass and that they can't catch passes that are right on their tape.  It's brutal.  Their practice habits must be awful and I blame that on RK for having no accountability on this team.

Hopefully Granato can get some, but I doubt it as an interim.

There never was a supply issue.  The rules set down by Cuomo made them not an initial priority and then their Union wanted them to avoid getting vaccinated to get concessions from the school districts.

The garbage.  If they didn't have someone waiting in line for a dose, then they tossed them at the end of the day.  Over 600,000 were tossed in the first 4 weeks alone in NY.

i really liked RK, even if they were having a terrible season.  I really hope RK lands on his feet quickly, and i really hoped the sabres would have put him in a different position in the org. i think he really has something to offer, even if it wasnt the head coach

You realize he's worth several million dollars, and the Sabres will pay him $3.75M next season, right?  RK will be fine no matter what happens moving forward.

I wish I was paid the rest of this year's salary and all of next year's when I was laid off last month.
