  1. 667 games for Gretzky to get to 1,600 points. That's actually insane.
  2. Pittsburgh for decades no matter their record puts out extreme offensive pressure.
  3. These refs are aggravating. Kick Tage out of the face off twice and then Cozens for nothing. Then let Ekblad dry hump Power.
  4. I'm glad we didn't draft him. We would've just traded him anyway.
  5. After all we've been through, it still feels darn good when we're winning.
  6. The guy wouldn't care if the team becomes the Atlanta Sabres of course he's not going to care about a reasonable discussion that perhaps we're not playing as bad as our record. I appreciate you bringing up this data.
  7. Selfishness is sometimes necessary but more often is a rotten mindset.
  8. I don't either but this is a rotten statement.
  9. You don't know why saying contradicting things is a problem?
  10. How does a tainted team that players don't want to come to because of "Eichel's neck" do that? You've got to stop saying both.
  11. 1) McDavid has proven he was the prize player and leader and Eichel was a good player and the antithesis of leadership. 2) The league cares nothing about the Eichel handling. Our reputation is soured but for entirely different reasons. 3) Because of our reputation, we have to build from within. We're doing that and it takes an extremely long time.
  12. I think the fatal error was tanking for McDavid and ending up with Eichel.
  13. You said name one good decision he's made, then named a good decision he's made.
  14. Peterka is on pace to being a point per game player.
  15. Except that's not what I said, assuming you're lumping me into this fictitious group. I said it's fine if anyone wants to wait until they see results. I fully respect the view of not giving this organization any benefit of optimism. I am, however, in full opposition of besmirching anyone that doesn't subscribe to that. If someone believes a line is going to be good, the team improved or think we'll make the playoffs - so be it.
  16. Again, you don't practice what you preach. You mock and judge posters constantly who don't agree with your extreme pessimism.
  17. Wait you comment on a line saying it's unproven, then say aren't we supposed to be giving our opinions? You argue against what you do. Start a thread titled "Only things that have happened". I get it, you're never going to satisfied until... blank happens. That's fine. It's not fine when you shoot down every optimistic sentiment, those with hope or positive prediction.
