His rebound control is outstanding, Essp compared to the other guys we have. Many things about Levi standout but how he just eats pucks is very impressive.

Forget where i heard it, probably Sabres Live, so take it for what it's worth, but they said Sabres have one of the tighter alumni's in the league in terms of activities they do and how often they get together for functions, golf tournaments, attend games, ect. That said, you are right, i dont ever really recall them coming and giving speeches to players besides Ryan Miller but that was after his jersey-retirement. I wonder if one of the reasons is Boston has a rich history of winning, meanwhile Sabres, for much of their existence, have been pretty bad.

Bales is considered one of the best in the business. He's widely credited with helping Marc Andre Fleury resurrecting his career and developing Matt Murray. Pens won back to back Cups. In Carolina, Cam Ward praised him, and then he had Petr Mrazek have one of his best seasons after years of struggle and waiver-claim pickup Curtis McElhinney have a solid season. He hasn't had similar success in Buffalo, but let's face it, the team has been bad and the defense has been young. But i think the Sabres are in good hands with Bales. Goes without saying, but the 3-goalie system sucks bc one of these guys isn't gonna play for another like 3 weeks. I forget who, but someone on twitter was trying to predict when Comrie/UPL would play and they said Monday.

I realize it's not a popular take, but i think they gotta send Benson back to the WHL. While he shows flashes of being very good, his potential is enormous, let him cook in the WHL and light up the score sheet. I think besides the few nice flashes he makes, he just loses the puck too easily too many times. He just doesn't seem strong enough for this level. I think as theres more tape on the kid teams gonna feast on him more.

What in the world was Skinner doing on the ice in the final seconds in the 3rd when Tampa scored? Only other guy i'd rather NOT see on the ice in that spot was scratched tonight. That was a bizarre time to send Skinner out.

I'm beginning to worry about Clifton. It's only three games, but i said that after every game so far. Maybe he was a systems guy in Boston. They made everybody look good there it seemed. So far, he's been very poor.

weird they wouldnt add them in the story. But its Joseph Cecconi, Zach Metsa, Justin Richards, Olivier Nadeau, Brendan Warren, and Graham Slaggert. I personally wouldve liked to see Metsa play and Cecconi is a good AHL dmen.
