Halleluyah! I feel bad for Lindy but believe the team, in the long run, will benefit. For one thing, the refs will no longer call non-penalties on the Sabres merely to get back at and irritate Lindy. We may even see a true forecheck and power play for a change. Spend a ton of money and hire the right guy Terry.

Myers check somebody? Stop the complaining. Do what the Pens did a number of years back and completely tank for a few years and collect the likes of LeMieux, Crosby, and Malkin in the draft. With Lindy continuing to run the show, that may be possible.

What a pathetic bunch of overpaid coaches and players. Bruins beat them to every loose puck and don't pretend to forecheck as the Sabres always do. Game after game it's the same thing. Lindy can't coach and this team doesn't appear to want to play for him or themselves. Pegula has to shake things up big time.

Perhaps they'd like quantity: Leopold, Hecht, Kaleta, and a big trash can. How about Lindy as a throw in?

They're losing the same way they've been losing for years. Ya think it's the annual game plan?

Most teams would gain momentum from a game such as this. Unfortunately, the Sabres don't usually perform like most teams. Surprise us!

It's like a well coached team against a pick-up bunch with no discipline, no clue, and no coach.

Every season, new players. But every season the team plays the same: mediocre, lazy, careless, not for 60 minutes, major defensive lapses, Miller blows the game or the shutout at the end, dull power play, gives up short handed goals, phony forecheck, etc. etc. Must be Lindy's "system." Tell ya something?
