  1. While I am suddenly bullish on the bills front line I would like to see them in action before annointing them one of the top 5 D-lines in the league. I don't know what Wanny was doing last year, but I like it.
  2. I believe the correct term is Timsaniity. And yes, watching the jets go down in flames will be great theater. I just hope it happens in a very public, embarassing way. Holy crap - Brian Scott, Anderson, Mario freaking Williams? Are they actually trying and not just putting up window dressing to sell tickets? Did Russ Brandon stuff Ralph's corpse in the freezer and swipe his check book during his last visit to Detroit?
  3. this would make more sense, but would have to make him the highest paid back up DE in the league.
  4. Boobs are awesome, moobs aren't. Lefty didn't say it, he proved it.
  5. Or expose his inability to play the run because teams won't even try to run up the middle. Kelsay is OK , but he has never played the right side - that scares me. Quite good? Meh. That seems a bit overstated.
  6. Schobel would have been a super star in a real NFL city - he could play the run too. Shobel in his prime is exactly what we need. Can this guy play the run?
  7. Dude doesn't look very big for a defensive end.
  8. The search function has its limitations, but you can use google to search the site - gives you better results for some searches. Search within a specific website (site:) Google allows you to specify that your search results must come from a given website. For example, the query [ iraq site:nytimes.com ] will return pages about Iraq but only from nytimes.com. The simpler queries [ iraq nytimes.com ] or [ iraq New York Times ] will usually be just as good, though they might return results from other sites that mention the New York Times. You can also specify a whole class of sites, for example [ iraq site:.gov ] will return results only from a .gov domain and [ iraq site:.iq ] will return results only from Iraqi sites.
  9. F the mods - I hate seeing a new thread on something that been discussed 20 times before.
  10. If you fail to prepare, prepare to be eaten alive by the undead. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XcyPLW6zVUg
  11. Dude - they are coming. Will you be ready? http://www.zombiesurvivalcourse.com/contact/contact.html It's also fairly close to the Victory Brewery. Nothing like a refreshing Hop Devil after double tapping some zombies.
  12. This is an argument for the ages and isn't the right place for it, but I would respectfully disagree with the statement that Montana was so much better that it's not even close. If Manning had played on those teams he may never have lost a game. The talent Montana had around him on both sides of the ball was amazing.
  13. But you don't have to worry about a phone call from Shanny, apparently. Kaleta should learn from this.
  14. I wan't defending what they gave up for him, but I think he is a better answer than Fitz, although older. And really, what other choice did the Raiders have - they weren't a bad team other than their lack of an effective QB. And it was too late to tank the season by the time Campbell went down.
  15. I think you might be selling Palmer short. Before the knee injury he was really coming on - he had back to back 4,000 yard seasonsand threw 86 touchdowns in the three seasons before he blew out his knee. He hasn't been the same since, but is still a pretty decent quarterback. Seeing as he has only played for the Bengals and Raiders, it's tough to judge what he could have done in a more competent sytem.
  16. I don't even know who the bolded refers to. Damn Millenials.
  17. They must be taking lessons from the Bills - turning first round picks into 4th rounds picks is our go to move!
  18. It was a beautiful night out last night - so much so that I had two cigars. The first was labeled a Cuban Cohiba, but I think it was a fake. I've had the real thing before, and this one didn't have the same spice on the tongue that I remember. Nevertheless, it was a smooth drawing great smoke. Second was a maduro Fuente that was also a damn good smoke, but reminded me why I prefer Connecticut Shade to Maduro. Just doesn't do it for me. What was supposed to be a warmup last night for today's marathon turned into a 10k. Time to grease up and seize the day.
  19. Thanks. Now I'm going to HAVE to try this. Where in Holland are you? - beautiful country out that way. Is that restaurant at the intersection of 16 and N. Protection still there?
  20. This is a huge unbelievable, move, and I love it, but I want to see more than this before I will believe ownership is legitimately trying to win instead of just trying to solidify the slipping season ticket base and sell another round of games to Toronto. Go out and sign a couple more free agents at positions of need - plug holes so you can go get the difference maker you want with that first pick instead of drafting safe players at positions of need. Hell, spend to the cap! Do all that, and I will Billieve. Color me skeptical. A lifetime of Bills fandom will do that to you.
  21. Lindy must have sodomized him with a hockey stick.
  22. Really? He badly misplayed a guy in the neutral zone that led directly to the first goal. Terrible play. He was sketch at several other points ion the game - his decision making is deteriorating. On the plus side, he is tough in front of his own net - something Grags will never be.
