Ted Nolan isn't supposed to fix anything, the front office is. Look at the roster - The fact that they at least play hard now is an improvement of monumental proportions, considering for how long the team failed to do just that. I have no preferences as to whether Nolan stays or goes, but to make a decision based on current results isn't fair.

So far, there is absolutely no evidence to support that claim - For all we know, the current front office could easily be as inept as the Isles FO. I doubt it, but technically, they really haven't proven a thing yet.

While I agree it doesn't make sense from a logical perspective, if Tavares really *is* sick - and I'm not saying he is as I haven't a clue - of life on Long Island, they might not have a choice but to trade him somewhere down the line.

Technically though, I'm pretty sure 29 teams are interested in Tavares.

I don't think anyone is denying the roster was crap, but I don't think you can deny there's generally been a difference in hustle under Nolan, than under Ruff/Rolston. The correct answer to me, would be "a little of both".

Kaleta's "hit" on Richards was "a stupid gamle". This is a more like a "stupid, reckless and dangerous gamble", Even if Dillion turns into him, it's a late hit, by miles?

How the hell is that only 5 games for a repeat offender? Yet Kaleta gets 5 for grazing Jack Johnson, and Scott gets 7 for being bigger than Ericsson? It's a complete joke, if Kassian had played for the Sabres, that's at least 10 games, and a secret memo from the league saying that he needs to be kicked down to the farm.

The current roster spells B-I-G problem as a whole. No reason goaltending shouldn't match the standard of our skaters :w00t:
