While I agree that ownership might not exactly be the most hockey-savvy ownership in the league, it''s hard to point at any of the recent coaches/GM and say "he was moving things in the right direction". Tim Murray didn't move this franchise in the right direction, and Phil certainly wasn't the answer for the coaching position either. My guess is they're warming up to firing JBot too.

Right now, he's starting to whine in public, calling out his teammates for doing exactly what he himself does on a regular basis. I think this locker room is in shambles. I've gone from "underwhelmed" by Sam, to "fed up". The only guys on this team with the right to call someone out is Eichel, and to an extent, Ulmark. The rest can shut up.

Ullmark may overplay his position at times, but it’s the D’s job to cover for their goaltender once that happens. I find it a little curious, that we as Sabre fans, complain about goaltenders overplaying position (Miller got a lot of flak for this too), considering the fact that we saw the greatest goalie of all time do exactly that, for almost a decade. Check out a Dominik Hasek highlight reel, and what you’ll see 7 out of 10 times after he’s made a crazy save, is a Sabre defenseman hammering the puck out of danger, ahead of three opposing forwards ready to bang home a loose puck, after Dom was out of the play. Granted, Ullmark is NOT Dom by any means, but I think the point still stands.
