Sabre-like miss from the Jackets there! Wow!

I hated that trade from day 1, especially because Darcy went so far out of his way to let the fans know he won that trade before TinMan Timmy, and Taylor Quiet had played a game for the Sabres. If something needs talking up, it’s a pretty good indication the product is crap. I don’t have the statistics to back it up, but I’m pretty sure Darcy Regier is among the very few to lose a trade to Mike Milbury.

I would love to have Vesey sit, but I know that’s not gonna happen. Would settle for him off Jack’s line though, I’m sick of seeing him miss open nets. Someone else can do it.

On a team that dresses Evan Rodrigues, that’s saying a lot.

And the team in general plays questionable hockey.

Totally agree - Not playing your 40 goal scorer with your best setup guy is moronic. Period. Even if taking Skinner off Jack’s line was to make Jack take more shots and score more goals, it’s still moronic.

Who’s in net tonight?

The list of great finishers having great setup guys is pretty long. It's common practice to play snipers with playmakers, and has been for as long as I can remember. I got a feeling Skinner would've buried at least some of Jack's cross crease passes that Vesey routinely tips wide, but who knows. I wondered if he'd score 20 this season about a month ago. I'm now certain that he won't. Terrible.
