Well, that looked easy....

I was pretty livid over that play too, that said though if ever there was a situation for a guy like Sam to learn from, this was it. Especially when Harrington went out of his way to piss him off in the post-game interview. Sam went out and played an A-plus road game the next night, and added a sweet breakaway goal. Who knows, maybe a nice serving of public crow, actually taught him something?

While I’m often critical of Reinhart, I loved how he responded against the Rangers. Add two quality wingers to this roster, and I think we’ll see Sam be who he can be.

Value? In terms of points? Marchand is a Grade A pest who can play hockey. There is no comparison here, at all. These two will be different types of players forever, even in Sam turns into Jonathan Toews.

There’s a sequence, right after the Sabres killed a PP, about 5 minutes into the 3rd, where Risto absolutely manhandles Lemieux in front of the Sabres net, putting him on his ass three times in a row. Love it ??
