  1. One more win vs LA and they clinch the division over Vegas
  2. Anyone who wants to hear the other side of the story
  3. The back to back emotional games for Allen has me a little concerned. Just a little.
  4. I really like the way Ottawa plays. In a regular year where they would face the Sabres several times I'd probably hate it though. They're fast all over the ice.
  5. I agree. If it's a hardliners stance for the Eichel camp, and really even if he hinted he wants out, then I say they have to deal him. I'd take the best deal but only if it makes sense for the team, not because the player wants to go somewhere or a deal is there to be had. It needs to move the needle forward in Buffalo. Once Jack Eichel leaves the Buffalo Sabres, unless it's in retirement, he'll be done to me. Out of sight, out of mind. Good luck and good bye.
  6. Right. And who wants that? Adams better not.
  7. All of em are back in the lineup. Houser in goal. Kid just loves the hockey. Michael DiPietro is the goaltender for Utica tonight...He's the 3rd goalie up for Team Canada at the World Championships.
  8. I don't think he'll want to make a deal that could potentially help both clubs, he'll want to win and the Sabres need to win the Eichel deal.
  9. I don't think Drury would deal with the Sabres.
  10. Hopefully next season will see the Amerks have an influx of young prospects to cheer for. Younger the better IMO
  11. Week 13 and 14 cheats and bucs back to back looks rough
  12. Certainly would but I'm not sure there is any other way if a deal is to be done now. Jack is saying it's multiple injuries, some lingering since last year. I wonder if Jack has been forthcoming about how he was previously injured? When did he report the initial injury or injuries from last year and the beginning of this one? Did he rehab them or was he just hoping rest was all that was needed? Did he follow the treatment plan for those injuries? I don't see how a deal can be completed this summer, if at all IMO.
  13. I'd be willing to do that deal. If Sam really wants out I think this could satisfy both parties and gives some flexibility in the Eichel trade return as well.
  14. I don't want to trade Reinhart necessarily but does anyone think there's a package that can be sent to Calgary, returning Tkachuk? I'd love to have a chance at having a Tkachuk on the Sabres. Reinhart would be going home so I'd imagine he would be happy and Tkachuk would get a fresh start in a small market not in Canada.
  15. I think now that both sides have had a chance to speak that Jack pulled a calculated move, exasperated by a press that has never fully respected Eichel as a player and it mostly backfired on him IMO. Will teams trade for an injured Eichel? Will the timeline of 12 weeks, as Adams stated, show progress on that front? If Eichel does get the surgery, what is the timeline of recovery? Do teams just wait?
  16. I am of the opinion that IF Chris Drury were to deal with the Sabres in any trades it would be simply to screw them over. He has zero incentive to act like the franchise even exists.
  17. I love the Bills and I have stuck by them and continued to go to games every year of the playoff drought, mostly for the good times with friends. The results didn't break my heart every week anymore but my love for the team never wavered even when they were the laughingstock of the NFL. That being said, they rebuilt from the ground up with McDermott and Beane. The two of them have now made the Buffalo Bills into a destination of choice for players around the league and a model franchise in a very short period of time. Therefore I know it can be done. I watched it happen, saw the team believe in themselves and each other and my love and heartbreak after losses have returned. The circumstances with the Sabres have most certainly grown old but I'll be here when that day comes for them as well. I have to have some faith in Adams to be the right choice or I'll drive myself batty worrying about something I have no control over.
  18. So you watched a Buffalo Sabres production that featured the owners of the team? Lights, camera, action. I'm not saying the owners are not consulted, especially when it's $8 million real dollars involved but that was just a fan site video capturing a few moments of the negotiations, not the every day grind behind the scenes. Terry and Kim are not sitting at the desk as Adams takes and makes calls weighing in in real time.
  19. That's not gonna happen. They're the owners, they've spent the money and made the moves, they just haven't worked to date. The Pegulas aren't sitting in Adams office every day taking and making calls. Karmanos has been hired for his experience and connections and will likely have a huge part in any transactions this off season.
  20. It's unwatchable. I'm hoping the recording isn't choppy. I heard about every fifth word out of his mouth for some reason?
  21. The average distance from the net on his goals is about 2 feet. Seriously. Every goal.
  22. 20 year old coming off a league championship season playing 15 minutes a game. Twitter can translate. There's also a translation on the article.
