The Sabres didn't leave Toronto until 2am last night because of traffic, and because of going through customs didn't get to their Nashville hotel rooms until 5am. So I'm sure you'll be ready to shred 'em when they underperform tonight. The NHL schedule makers are a the joke.

It was a defensive duel. Not sure why everyone was so down on this game. Probably because we didn't score 9 goals. I thought the Sabres played a confident game stuffing the Leafs attack. Their only kryptonite was the play from behind the net.

Just finished the game. What a heartbreaker. Sabres played an amazing defensive game. Frustrated the Leafs all night. Very mature game by Buffalo.

Thanks to everyone who replied to my question. I'm very aware of the rules of ESPN+ regarding blackouts and national games. What I don't know is what happens when NHL Network grabs the Sabres MSG broadcast for their national game. Does that game ever end up on ESPN+ on-demand?

But what about games that are on NHLN? Often times NHLN just rebroadcasts the home PBP. So if they use MSG+, does ESPN+ still have on-demand rights?

I'm getting back from Vegas late so looks like I'll miss a good chunk of the game live. I wonder if NHL games are available for on-demand on ESPN+ after?
