What a hose job by the refs tonight on the Amerks. After tying the game 2-2 with the goalie pulled, they thought they won in OT. But the officials conferred and ruled goalie interference: no goal. So it goes to a shootout, 4th round, Phantoms hit the crossbar, ref calls it a goal, Amerks protest, they show the shot on the scoreboard, clear as day, no goal! Refs confer again and upheld the call of a goal. I think everyone wanted to get out of town.

I'm in Rochester instead tonight to see the Amerks.

Consider this. If the Sabres did this: W-L-W-OTL-W-L-W every 7 games, that's .642 and with 41 games left, would get you to 87.

If we keep Ottawa off the board this period, I'll boldly predict that they might just win.

He got lucky with the McDermott hire, maybe he'll get lucky with the Sabres eventually. But at least both teams play in Buffalo!
