I can't imagine Terry not cutting a deal on rooms. Where do opponents stay?
-
Why is that unpopular? They're fine. Given a choice I'd go to Resurgence or Buffalo Brewery (for the Detroit style pizza) but Pearl is pretty good too.
-
We'll I'm never there unless a game is on so I don't know. Southern Tier Brewery took over 716. I assume they're doing well. I think Tim Hortons is still open. There used to be some small businesses along Washington St including (remember?) The Healthy Scratch (a Pegula offspring project). I think they're gone. About that name, Healthy Scratch carries a negative connotation if you're a hockey player, just saying. You have to go a block or more to find other place to hang out at. John Labatt House, Pizza Plant, HofBrau Haus, Prohibition and Ballyhoo I assume do fine. Then there's Buffalo Iron Works. They have live music.

He owns the building. That includes the hotel part.

And this guy is getting toasted for that take in the replies. -
What happened to all the Skinner money Terry was going to bank?

Whoa, Cowboy. We have a narrative to maintain. -
I think it's hilarious you're willing to go to the wall with this notion, citing housekeeping expenses. 😂 But hey, it's the offseason. What else are we going to panic about? I mean it's been 5 days since Skinner was bought out. The fact we haven't spent that cap savings already is all the proof you need, right?

I hate to stick a pin in your "Terry is cheap" fantasies but Pegula owns the Marriott Hotel at Harborcenter. That's where the players stay. It doesn't cost him more to house more players.

Some kid in a suit ran a focus group.

This is only over a year old. You just heard about it?

This isn't entirely true. There are no Saturday/Sunday game weekends. But there are four Friday/Sunday weekends.11/1-3, 11/29-12/1, 12/20-22 and 12/27-29.

Just don't get her pregnant there.

Krebs to 3rd line, Dunne C on 4th?

You act like certain players mean certain results. Things change, players can change, nothing is written in stone. Do you watch any other hockey besides the Sabres? Have you seen players suddenly get it? Teams coming together at the right time? That's sports. It's not a video game with player scores that never change. I just got to a point where making myself miserable over teams felt pointless.

I thought Murray was good in Rochester. But he didn't do much in his call-ups. But that could be for a variety of reasons. -
You didn't answer my question. What is preventing NHL GMs from dealing with Adams? You brought that up.
