I think you are missing my point. What I'm suggesting is this somewhat anal obsession with conformity came about alongside the complaints over the arena condition. "Let's see what else we can find wrong with the Sabres." You can disagree. But it's my opinion. To me the differences in the banners reflect the era of those teams. Making the banners conform, to me, is erasing Sabres history. Again,w my opinion. Also, @SDS, my "okay" was not done in snark. It was meant to acknowledge your feelings on the matter.

There are enough Sabres connections to MAF. It's not unreasonable to think he could sign here. MAF/UPL in '22/'23.

Because to me it's all related. It's born from the list of grievances started by John Vogl over the condition of the arena.

Another nothing-burger Sabres scandal. When I was at KBC Friday I tried to pay close attention to the condition of the arena and there was nothing that wrong with it. Renovation can certainly wait until the Bills stadium is built. Harrington and Vogl's "Jumbotron envy" and some cosmetic cracks in the floor are not reasons to get worked up over.

Does losing matter in garbage time? Apparently it does. So why not winning?

The Amerks have their own hard-luck-in-the-playoffs streak they need to break. Let's win this series. I wonder if any Sabres players will come out to Rochester Wednesday for moral support?

But why isn't he elite with those skills? Head and heart. Josh Allen is a perfect comparison. Had all the physical gifts but lacked execution. Josh devoted himself to becoming great. Jack was always "the guy" since peewees. Always on elite teams. Always sought after. Never doubted. Never put in a less than ideal situations.

Acknowledging Eichel's contribution to the Sabres dysfunction doesn't absolve the team or owners. But like in any dysfunctional situation, recognizing you're a mess is the first step to recovery.
