Yes. We lost our 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th sting goalies to injury. But when we got heathy in March and April we went 16-9-3, .625pts%. We need to avoid injuries.

Believe me I was holding my breath in the 3rd. As well as the Sabres D and Comrie were playing I didn't know how long they could hold out. That's not you you usually win games.

What stats are you referring to? His WPG stats were outstanding. Or are you talking about his preseason stats playing with 4h and 5th stringers?

Well, twice really. Tim Murray traded a 3rd for Jimmy Vesey's rights and he didn't sign either. And we are are looking at two players in Johnson and Portillo on the verge. So I get why it feels like "all the time."

How do I paint a good picture? EDM didn't score until late. Comrie was outstanding but the rest of the Sabres weren't standing around with their thumbs in their butts. They were clearing pucks from the crease, clogging passing lanes and being physical with players.

As badly as they were dominated they played strong defense in their end. In past seasons when teams would bottle is up in our end we'd be chasing our tails and give up a goal within a minute. This time EDM was totally frustrated until they pulled their goalie.

Skinner looked hypnotized on the TT goal, as did the entire Oilers squad frankly. What's funny is Power pulled the same move in the 1P but the puck rolled off his stick last second.

I went to the Boston one year's back. It was at the Harp, of course. Disco Dan was there. Gave me the death stare when I asked him a question. Very relatable. Rob Ray tried to avoid folks by staying behind a table. Everyone else was nice, especially Danny Gare.

Buffalo won the goaltending duel. Stew Skinner got beat like a mule. EDM goalie was weak.

Certainly not for the effort by the Oilers.

EDM goalie is overcommitting. Power almost scored the same way. Tage noticed.
