GDT: Lightning @ Sabres 7pm ET, Jan 11th 2022, msg-b wgr espn+

I watched Bjork in particular last night before I stopped watching. He isn’t good at anything. Same goes for Butcher, Miller, Hayden, Eakin, Jankowski, and others I’m probably forgetting. Olofsson is clearly playing injured but I noticed on his breakaway, he’s really ***** slow or his injury is hampering his skating as well. -
I know some of y’all are into masks

I love this I’d rather sit on Vancouvers bench if I were him
-
Hells yeah

The guy who refused to report here back when they were actually winning some games? Yeah they can’t roll Dell and Houser out there every game. Am I forgetting someone?

Dylan Cozens: naive kid, or culture change spokesman

I’ve been here, most of the last two decades. If what has happened the last 12 months hasn’t moved the needle for ya, you may be farther down the path than I ever have. Cozens, Mitts, Power, Quinn, Krebs, Samuelsson, Dahlin, Olofsson, Peterka, Johnson, UPL, Levi, Portillo, a slew of draft picks from last season who look great, another big haul of picks coming this season. I’m amped. Being in Rochester, watching all the kids, certainly makes it more tangible for me. I understand skepticism, I’m practically made of it. I’m finally feeling positivity exuding from this franchise since 05-07 days (not that I was enamored with that team as they were small and got abused). -

Once the purge was complete, players old and young seemed to have a burden lifted off their shoulders. All of them seem genuinely excited and happy to be here. They know the wins will come. Had they gotten anything close to average goaltending, the wins would be there.- 91 replies

Will the madness ever end

I still don’t see how that translates to success as a forward

Single digit temps, snow likely. No thanks. I’ll watch the game in the man cave.

With Asplund’s play of late, I’d almost rather see Girgs on that line. Rasmus has been making some squirrelly decisions.

I didn’t know giraffes could get COVID.

Be interesting to see if Fitzy makes the top 6. I’d play him over Butcher but I don’t know how handedness affects the lineup.

That bottom six is barf worthy. My lord they need to get healthy. Starting to wonder if we’ll ever see the Sabres roster in its full form.
