I lasted one whole game (I was at the opener) before abandoning MSG PLUS. Air playing the game on my iPad or phone to the tv was a problem. The stream itself buffered almost every 2-3 minutes. I’d say I probably missed 40% of the game action Saturday. I’m back the watching “illegally”.

They can be manipulated and used to support uniformed opinions but numbers are numbers.

He was scratched for at least one Amerks game. Not sure if it means anything as they have 8 legit AHL DMen.

We know Corsi, like all metrics, is flawed. I’ll take the other team taking low percentage shots to boost their corsi.

I’m having trouble following the “shots that missed the net” narrative. This is a bad thing? Shouldn’t we hope all the opposition misses the net each game?

Stats don’t lie but I was anxious with him and Johnson on the ice. I guess it just doesn’t look that pretty when one of your world class Dmen isn’t on the ice pushing the puck with ease through the defense.

I like the concept of Clifton as well, but I need him to be at least a net zero. His size worries me too. He plays like he’s 6’3” 230. Being that he’s 4 inches shorter and 50 lbs lighter, I wonder how long his body will hold up.

I don’t really care about the legality of the attempt. It’s stupid. It looks stupid. It has zero to do with actual hockey. Just put a 3 Second shot clock on it and call it a day.

The NHL needs to shoot this into the sun If I’m Granato, or any NHL coach for that matter, all my shooters are practicing this dumb thing until they ban it.

Honestly, this is probably my biggest gripe of Meatballs. Wants to make 110% sure that something doesn’t work before making a change. Dude, everyone knew VO was a problem. Sticking him with two of our top players was a bad idea. I’d love for the analytics team to get involved (maybe they are and he’s being stubborn?).

5-4 Amerks in OT, Kulich seals it. Amerks were down 4-1 going into 3rd.

I’m 100% certain I’ve said this before but no one can kill 6 months of good will like this team. We were riding a tidal wave of hope and promise for this season and in 60 minutes they torpedoed all of it in one fell swoop. Fans desperately want to buy in and this team reminds you buyer beware constantly.
