Lake Baptiste and Bancroft ... Halliburton and Highland Grove .... God's country. Two summers in Algonquin. ******* I think Babcock had the Leafs playing structurally sound hockey last year. He's going to get the most out of his roster for years, as an aside to the components discussion. Toronto scored on 7.63% of its shots last year. That will go up. It's team save percentage was 90.4%. That, too, will go up. They're different, but very close teams in the short and intermediate term.

One unit on Les Habitants spoiling our opener. I'm dipping a toe in, here. I'll assume we post bets here and Hank keeps track and provides periodic updates. NeoPhyte

For clarity ... D4rk's in and I'm not, correct? I don't want to mess up a draft by missing it!
-
I can join, but can't draft tonight. I can tomorrow night. Many are probably ahead of me, I know. Dearest Laetitia ... another front avails itself ...
-
Jumbo Jim Watson ... First Sabre regular season goal. Some guy named Gil scored the other in a 2-1 victory over Pittsburgh. Tim Horton ... Legend.

Dearest Laetitia... We forge on. The week after reversing ill fortune, attributable to the valor of the enemy in one case, and to the self inflicted wound of miserable strategy in the other, we engaged once again. Depleted, with four warriors on leave, raw recruits and conscripts joined the pitch. LEAVE! Who does this with stakes so high? What warrior rests? Four! We forge on. The recruited new blood made me, on behalf of you, so proud. I am enamored, particularly, with a young Field Marshall ignored by the great Generals. I found him, ready and prime, wasting away in the barrack, and handed our destiny to him. He won in a route. In short, we left all of our blood, sweat and tears on the field of battle. Our reserves, including the slackers on leave, scored not one blow. This is something never seen before. The reservists -zero! We forge on. With three victories and our leaves behind us, we will be formidable as the long campaign trudges on. You, my everything, await us in the distance. My forewarning to others ... heed our quest, save yourselves, and yield.

In, if you'll have me!

And post with ... Kidding .. I'm a six coffee cup a day guy. Nothing to be proud of, mind you. I have increased my water. As you grow older, doctor's suggestions become doctor's orders. You're on a better path!

I was thinking the same thing ... that's what made me ask, in general. I'm having a hard time finding stats for "targets" that aren't for WR.

Late -- Game Balls: Shady LorAx Robey-Coleman Adolphus Washington! (Worthy, or am I simply noticing a rookie's coming out party?) Coaches - Rex, A-Lynn, Thurman, Crossman, April ... ***** I'm slow to change views, but I'm dropping Gilmore from "Best of the Rest" to "Solid", categorically. Think "Top Ten" dropping to "Better than Most". If I were ESPN, that translates to top 20 out of 60 starters. To the learned ... is he better than Darby today?
-
I looked at the Dolphins' box score. I didn't see ol' Mario. I'm not gloating, but is he playing?
-
I forgot, yes, EJ was Nix. I wasn't knocking, by the way. There are a lot of aspects to rating a GM. I like his personnel moves. The jury's out regarding drafts. That has to change.
-
Whaley's done a good job. Give him two first round starters from the last four drafts and there'd be no/less debate. Football is a collision sport.

Last week, Zack Brown ... This week, Alexander ....
-
Well, TT put that ball through a tiny window.

Second Base is now referred to, simply, as A Base. Second base objects to the numerical hierarchy that has subrugated it to first base. Second base will no longer recognize number line privilege. ********* Xtra point looms large ..

I know I will sound like I'm Gilmore bashing ... bit did he just try to avoid a hit and recover a fumble in the same play? He dove DIAGONALLY to he ball!

***** Today is a day for Tyrod's legs, marginally, over his arm. OR ... as Randall suggested ... even better.

L.A. got Hughesed.

I agree - keep, but not at $15 million ... what's the franchise range, $13.9 million? That may be steep, but close. $13.5, Stephon ... keep drafting CBs... ********** I am enjoying this game ... it has an old time feel to it ... rushing games with the occasional look downfield ... Not the defensive struggle we thought ...
-
Carpenter ... I know, blocked ... I'm prepared to blame his trajectory until an expert tells me otherwise.
-
pi, I love this post. You, the players, the contract, the tongue in cheek analysis. I voted Reinhart. I'd not be surprised, but fall short of predicting, more points than Jack. I love the evolution.

Flagg .... best wishes. Re: #6. I'll never tire of Schoenfeld vs. Cashman. Radio game for me; I was not there. That was The Big Bad Bruins era. Schoenfeld scared 'em. ************* Re: #4 I have only the vaguest of memories of Mike McMahon ... and no photos. THIS guy, I remember well ....
