I think this coincides with the very general discussion over the efficacy of trade shows. The primary topic here is whether the in-person interaction is worth the time and expense of participating in a trade show. It seems those who support the in-person paradigm strongly support it while those who question its worthiness less strongly support their position. This can even extend into workplace attendance. Personally, I think in-person gatherings have value as entertainment for the fans but also in developing and maintaining industry/league relationships where that activity, when conducted in-person, is known to be more beneficial than other methods. I suspect that those who might support decentralization might also not like the shoot-out as a way of settling a tied game.

And this is why you don't waste space carrying three (3) goalies.

The good news is that your wardrobe is likely the height of fashion right now.

So, Anderson has been brought up in this thread. Here was there tonight in the locker room after the game. See video: https://www.nhl.com/sabres/video/victory-speech-6339363300112 As an aside, somewhere within this conversation I think a complaint about letting Michael Peca get away from the organization is warranted. I like Matt Ellis and some of the other guys but none of them are Michael Peca.

Jost is more valuable to this team than VO. Krebs didn't do too well with his lineup change. KO is s-l-o-w. Levi looked like the Levi I think we are all hoping he will be consistently. Girgensons earns every dollar of his contract. Tage looks horrible. Benson was pretty much neutralized tonight but wasn't a liability. I think this team is trying to add a little heavy to their game - beyond Greenway and Clifton it seems everyone is trying to flex their gritty. Not sure what an ideal first-10-game record would be, but I think I'd be happy with 6-2-2. Oops! Almost forgot: I'm looking forward to seeing our two solid Johnsons next game.
