  1. Are we surprised that goal stands? I'm not: bush league.
  2. Wow. Quick needs to not play the puck.
  3. Give the Rangers credit for being ready for the finals.
  4. Wow, Kings have woke up. I'd rather Doc calling this game and Pierre 5000 miles away than to hear Pierre at all.
  5. ...and probably the reason the finals will go six games.
  6. Leddy is going to be drinking tonight.
  7. A game played on sandpaper.
  8. I have never seen a goalie lose thier stick as much as Quick does.
  9. I didn't expect so many damn penalties. Is this the same crew who officiated game 5?
  10. Yeesh, bad luck for Quick.
  11. So...if the Blackhawks win this one, it could be the frosting on Quenneville's HoF induction cake. Looks like LA skipped the vanilla mocha frappe today.
  12. Damn, forgot to post this in a timely manner: I felt a great disturbance in The Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I feel something terrible has happened in Canada.
  13. Agreed. Chicago played a great game the other night; they looked completely different than they did in the three they lost.
  14. Great moment! By the Rangers, that is where the entire team accepted the trophy.
  15. Credit to the Habs for a good series, despite being beat down by Boston and losing Price.
  16. The Boston series is showing up in the Hab's game; they're worn out. I think they could beat either at this point, although that wouldn't be my bet if I were forced to make one. Both NY and LA have a lot of character guys and are both pretty quick; it would make a great finals. Tokarski has a future in the NHL....
  17. It's like the finale of a fireworks show.
  18. That last sequence was like ballet. Amazingly smooth and quick pace from both teams. High level hockey is just amazing.
  19. Looks like the Habs picked up a few things playing Boston.
  20. I get your point and I don't disagree. However, I know you don't have a language impairment, but you are falling for the twisted interpretation by the previous poster. Refer to the original post before the one you quoted and tell me I'm wrong. Quenneville will eventually be fired just like Gretsky was eventually traded, and this series will be where the autopsy starts.
  21. No. Thanks for playing, though.
  22. Hyperbole much? Oh, I forgot who I'm talking to. Dick.
  23. They're losing this series not because of a lack of talent, but from a lack of effort and will. That's on the coach the first time around for most organizations.
  24. ...I will not post in the politics thread...
  25. I can't buy this post, respectfully, of course. The reason being that I can't see how much more of a leap Zemgus needs to make. His coach was already implied he's captain material. This post also seems to be predicated on the expectancies of the prior administration. Murray has already made some left-field moves; I really don't think we can predict what this guy is going to do. From the little I have seen so far, though, I will say flat out that Foligno, Hodgson and Kaleta are not the kind of players Murray wants to keep around, and I can see Nolan not having the patience for them, either. Kaleta is a different case than the former two, but I have my doubts he will be around. If memory serves, Black has already said they all but plan to tank again, and Murray has danced around the topic. But I wonder, they have so much cap room, and have to reach the floor, I don't see Murray over-paying crappy players willingly. Maybe, though, if the hockey people in the club can swallow another year of intentional garbage hockey for the sake of the future - a concept Murray never seems comfortable with when asked about it.
