  1. I kind of like those lines. D-lo on the top? Can't say he hasn't earned a look there for all of the experimenting going on. I would prefer he and Larson swap, just to keep the kiddies safe, but Eichel did flash a little grit last game. Or, I would like to see Foligno with Jack and Samson. He has upped his game and is worth a look there.
  2. In the making lemonade department, this could actually help with Bylsma's tinkering. Kane is a known variable, as in we can pretty much predict how he'll respond and what he will do in certain situations. Removing a Lego from Bylsma's box forces him to explore the unknown variables he has: Eichel, Reinhart, Ennis (who is still unpredictable to a significant enough degree), Foligno (who refuses to be pigeonholed), and, to a degree Larson and I could argue McGinn. He also will be forced to think of the lines, matchups, and situations differently. Since Kane is a known variable, when he comes back perhaps Bylsma will have a better idea on how to use him.
  3. The Sabres let Ted Black walk too soon.
  4. With all due respect, I don't believe you never consider the market value of a player. I don't even want to search posts to rebut this claim, it's so...ridiculous. Every player has a market value that needs to be considered. The entire player acquisition system is set up around players' market values (which means how much they're paid, of course).
  5. He certainly paid like he was attempting to solve a goalie problem.
  6. Now's time to get clutch.
  7. I expect a few wins sprinkled in with the loses.
  8. Slew foot, then knee on knee.
  9. Goalie hell. Pffffffffffffffffffffffttt.
  10. We're in goalie hell and are offense is snake bit.
  11. These guys need to recognize that when a Sabre is behind the net, they should head to a spot about 10 feet ahead of the crease. That seems to be the spot where they'll dish puck from behind.
  12. What a pass.
  13. I don't watch enough sports to see it used elsewhere. It just sounds right to me.
  14. Their entries on the PP are pretty elaborate. Ryan O'who?
  15. Let's go special teams!
  16. Looking good.
  17. Dang, how long did that cycle last?
  18. Ennis with the seeing-eye-shot.
  19. At least they crashed the net.
  20. 4) should revert to the mean
  21. I expect Ullmark to start.
  22. Disco Dan and crew aren't addressing the problems correctly. You can't blame effort here, and you can't blame lack of skill...or potential skill. Goaltending was soft, but you have to expect that for some games until there's a real solution in net. This is a mental issue, and an issue where their first instinct isn't the correct one in many cases.
  23. I really do believe the Sabres have too much mental overhead going on. They're taking themselves and the games way too seriously.
  24. S.N.A.K.E.B.I.T.
