I have to think that after this game, they crossed some sort of imaginary boundary and will start negotiating with him in earnest. Not that we'd know...the extra year after the trade deadline might be the key.

They "should" have been so buried by then it wouldn't have mattered. That they weren't and were able to play one decent period and win, is fluky...normally. -
