It’s any self respecting Sabre fan. He’s lucky fans weren’t allowed in the building last year when he blatantly quit playing hockey. I’m surprised one of his own teammates didn’t beat his ass last season. He’s a disgrace.

That’s just Dunleavy projecting his own lack of puck awareness onto the players, which he pretty much does all game, every game. He’s the worst play by play announcer I’ve ever heard in any sport, bar none. Can’t paint a picture to save his life and if you’re listening to the radio vs watching it on TV, you have little clue what’s happening in real time in the game.

I get ZERO joy out of watching Butcher attempt to play. None.

Quinn had a decent tourney last year. Showed well in fact. Especially on the D side of things, which was surprising.

Regarding R2, when I watch him play for the Amerks, I seem to be watching a different player than when I watch him on the Sabres. He’s much more confident in the A it seems. He needs to trust his game more in the NHL.

The curse of raised expectations. Forces even the best of fans to lose perspective at times.

If Sanders is back, I imagine he will line up as the slot receiver. He’s played it a ton during his career and plays it well. If not him, gotta think it will be McKenzie. Let’s hope it’s Sanders.

We might actually be seeing a bit of the Tuch effect already in practice. Nobody wants to be the one he replaces and competition for spots is one key to improving.

Can see why. He’s flat out winning this game because the Sabres dominated the Wild like they haven’t dominated anyone else that period. 30 shots attempted for the Sabres to 12 for the Wild; 19 SOG vs. 6 for the Wild. Sabres carried the play the entire period.
