I just tried to find the bench interview of DG (maybe at the beginning of the second period). I remember thinking just how absolutely defeated he already sounded. He wasn’t going to inspire anyone to play better last night. I knew they were toast. Anyway, I couldn’t do it. Just rewatching the little that I did was so awful, even I stopped caring and turned it off.

While I agree, He's not playing all that great right now. It's not the effort. He's just trying to do too much and it's often stupid hockey. He looks like a shinny Allstar who just wants to do everything and he ignores his teammates. Just make the right play. Maybe it is coaching. I did not like how Don sounded tonight. I agree with this. Donnie looked and sounded absolutely defeated in his interview. He's not inspiring anyone tonight to play. Just weird.
