I just tried to find the bench interview of DG (maybe at the beginning of the second period). I remember thinking just how absolutely defeated he already sounded. He wasn’t going to inspire anyone to play better last night. I knew they were toast. Anyway, I couldn’t do it. Just rewatching the little that I did was so awful, even I stopped caring and turned it off.

Kinda making it easy to miss the beginnings, as well.

While I agree, He's not playing all that great right now. It's not the effort. He's just trying to do too much and it's often stupid hockey. He looks like a shinny Allstar who just wants to do everything and he ignores his teammates. Just make the right play. Maybe it is coaching. I did not like how Don sounded tonight. We need real receivers, receivers who catch with their hands, not their arms. Still trying to figure out what the heck Diggs was doing on that last drive when he just swung his arm around to hit the defender. He probably would have caught the ball if he had just tried to.
