  1. Conor McGregor and Holly Holm got choked out last night. While I, mostly, don't care about Holm, Notorious losing was nearly a night ruiner.

I said "I can't believe Conor lost" to myself while in the bathroom at a Buffalo bar last night and some dude at the trough just turned, while still pissing (EVERYWHERE), and goes "holy ###### are you serious?" Luckily I was not pissed on.

I don't know anything about the UFC and I kinda think I hate it, but we did an interview with the two of them this week and I can honestly say that I would be shocked if Diaz could count to five. I'm serious.

  2. Oh Pysyk, that was not your finest moment :(

    I really am speechless.

WHAT THE ###### MARK!? He was wide open... Make the play.

Also, I don't like Jack immediately calling Pysyk out and failing to get back onside.

I disagree. That was just awful by Pysyk.

    Kane,… :wallbash:

  3. The radio call of Minny's goal... oy. I heard the puck hit something, it was that distinctive dead clunk sound, and I instantly knew the puck was in. Dunleavy said it had hit the side of the net, then a few seconds later went into his patented, "And the puck is in behind Lehner and Minnesota has a 1-0 lead" deal. Then Petey kept delaying waiting for a challenge that didn't come. I have no idea who shot the puck, where the shot came from, how it went in... Just dreadful radio. Seriously, just play the ice level sound. I will figure the rest out.

The puck hit the post, rebounded out then hit Risto's skate to go in through the 5 hole. so, even watching it was a little awkward trying to figure out what happened.

  4. Maybe we could turn this into a media thread?

This may explain why there's a ton of leaky info and improper info out there...

2000 in America: 65,900 reporters, 128,600 PR people

2015 in America: 46,500 reporters, 208,000 PR people

    (per @BLS_gov data)

What that tells me is that messages are being more centrally delivered and then it takes more people to sugarcoat those sh!tty messages.
