I think Joki is a completely serviceable D man. Maybe a tad bit of an overpay, but I figure that that is just the Sabres’ right-handed Defenseman tax.

I think the Sabres make the playoffs this season just on the “loser points” they’re going to get that they didn’t get last season, not unlike Washington.

Going on year 11 for me. I have most likely relayed this story before, but I remember it vividly. We were camping at Beaver Meadow campground in Java. We had to go to Tops in Arcade for supplies. I needed a hat. I was standing in the Bills/Sabres section deciding which one to get and was actually holding a Sabres hat in my hand,… I just stopped and said, “Nope,” and put the hat back on the rack. Right then and there, I decided to not spend a dime on them until they were worth it. Never though it would take over a decade.

I absolutely believe it could. It would never not know who had the puck at any given time. It would most likely never not know who was on the ice at any given time. I think it would even come up with new stuff that would be “RJ like.” I f’n hate AI. I think we are doomed. EDIT: I started answering before I read the last line.😂 Individual words strung together would sound awful. But you could probably string together phrases that wouldn’t be to bad. Meh. One of their star players mentioned him specifically in the post game interview. We will never know if Florida would have won if Kyle wasn’t on the team. Kyle will always know that he could have been a part of a SC winning team,… because he was. When the Sabres eventually win the cup, there will most likely be a guy on the team getting a cheap cup. He’ll deserve it, too.

Not accepting the award means he’s a good teammate and knows what really matters.
