I was going to say that we should expect the new stadium to nice, but underwhelming, given the modest cost. I thought it would be at the low end of what recent stadiums cost. However it turns out $1.4 billion is in the ballpark. (WTF made Sofi Stadium so expensive? Almost $5 B.) So let's expect to be whelmed. What do we want to see in a new stadium?

My nephew is coming up from Florida for hunting season and wanted to see the Bills-Pats. So he bought tickets. We'll be down in 108 close to the field. I would have advised him to get a little higher (shut up, @Eleven), but I wasn't consulted. (Actually, I would have advised him to buy a lot higher, as in the upper deck. These tickets were well over $200 bucks. Ouch.) My brother, the nephew's father, won't attend because of the black national anthem, kneeling or some such other nonsense. It'll be an interesting experience. I haven't been to a regular season since 2000, I think. Whatever year they played SD. Flutie was the QB. Since then, as I've mentioned here, I fell out of love with the Bills and divorced them. I am resolved, however, for one night to have sex with my ex. I am going to fake it beyond belief. Most of all, I just want it to snow. Really hard.
