  1. thank you for the measured response. I'm running pretty hot right now and trying to be logical ..... To #1, could you share with me a link to when France became part of NATO's intelligence sharing? I am sincerely interested because I was not aware of this fact. I was referring more so to Obama not invoking the grounds for Article 5. To #2, if those were known ISIS jihadi training camps in Raqqa, how long would the U.S. have waited to destroy them? Are you saying the US would have done it in the absence of the Paris massacre? I saw or heard no evidence of that. Yes, I agree - politically, France had to be permitted to bomb - after the Paris massacre.
  2. yep, very inspiring. As a NATO partner, I'm sure Hollande is very grateful for Obama's unambiguous support..... :wallbash: While Rome is burning, this President rejects calls for the U.S. to change our strategy to defeat ISIS. February's election is right around the corner, Mr. President; always a winning strategy. Ultimately, "we will degrade and destroy ISIL"; really, Barack? How is it, then, that France got the exact coordinates to just bomb Syria from the U.S.? Does not sound like we have "intensified" our efforts at all.
  3. Stop trying to be cute, you know I did not post twice intentionally. I didn't accuse you of changing historical facts, but linking the Paris massacre to failed pre 9/11 warnings is unnecessary politicization. That's what I was saying, and am repeating again. So "your side" is the majority, on what exactly? Care to cite?
  4. unintentional on my part; trying to post from a mobile phone.
  5. You cite several revisionist linkages which are arguable at best. For you to conveniently omit Obama's flaccid and impotent foreign policy with imaginary "red lines" is intellectually dishonest. It could be argued that the vacuum left to enable ISIS is far larger than the one which enabled Al Qaeda, based on the relative damage each has done. My original point to your side's obsession with 9/11 is that it seems specious and conspiratorial to politicize last night's event....just very bad form. 6. My point, which you obviously missed, was that assigning blame to current or former Presidents for connections to the cause/effect of last night's and previous terror attacks looks very petty and partisan in an immediate time of mourning. You and your counterpart positioned ignorance of 9/11 warning in the contexts of "not to open old wounds, however...." . I mean, were is the civility and decency in that. If I wanted to be a complete d**khead, I would have spouted off about Obama's impotent foreign policy in the Middle East and how it created a huge vacuum for ISIS to fill and wreak havoc, which is happening - which I did not do. Just stating facts, as you like to say.
  7. no takers as of yet, please text me @ 678-699-3779 if interested, Will not have online SS access for PM communications
  8. I have 1 ticket available for tonight's game, gratis - sec 105, row 11. I have a pair and I am in town, will be using 1 ticket. Please PM me if interested, first come/first serve. I will update the Board once it has been claimed.
  9. pretty sickening, actually, that there is any right/left positioning on this tragic event.

  11. 1) Pysyk: always seems to be in the right position and appears to make all the right decisions 2) Eichel: did not know what to expect and his strength/top line speed are nonpareil. Seems like he was born with a hockey gene 3) The Sabres passing overall; remember last year when they could execute a 6 foot pass ? I am already nominating Byslma for coach of the year - no joke
  12. he meant that in terms of the type of person coming here illegally; in the same sentence he alluded to those with Journalism degrees. I believe this was his point, not exactly attacking the media for the sake of attacking.
  13. i.e., Cruz stated as part of his tax plan he'd abolish the IRS; not sure how much more specific one needs to be, and I don't recall him taking shots at the media last night. Please correct me if I missed something ....
  14. Agree with you on the bolded, they need to enforce the debate rules. OTOH, last night actually had the moderators allowing the candidates to square off and DEBATE each other, which was refreshing to see. Disagree with you on the candidates (other than Paul) talking merely in generalities; i.e., Rubio backs up his macro points with tangible facts, and has been very prepared in every debate. Cruz is a highly literate, brilliant Constitutional attorney who was highly prepared as was Rubio. I don't understand how Trump is still getting away with his non specifics. Kasich was loopy and off kilter, trying to butt in at every turn and appeared to have very un-Presidential body language and lack of composure. I guess we see things much differently, but that is what unique perceptions are all about.
  15. this is precisely my mindset in wanting to attend the San Jose game next Sat. I am coming up to NJ for a business trip Thurs and surprising my parents for a weekend visit. I want to to check out the new development downtown and catch the game with Jack as my primary draw. I am in need of a single ticket, so please PM should anyone need to get rid of one. Thanks all
  16. speaking of channeling your inner Rayzor, did anyone catch his great use of Roby's "wounded puma" during the Flyers game, I believe? it was awesome.
  17. I have to be honest - I thought Legwand was a throw-in; I had no idea what we were getting with him. Dude is a solid, savvy, all around vet presence. Sweet pass to Samson for the GWG, though before it happened I was yelling for him to SHOOT
  18. agreed, but you gotta win the 2-1 games too. All the more impressive that they were down 1-0
  19. sorry Potato, you obviously know the back story (...and way more than I do).
  20. agreed....but did you clear that nickname with him? (...or is that was his teammates call him?)
