  1. The D is a bunch of slackers. They let Miami get 4 offensive plays that last drive.
  2. 9 plays from the Miami offense so far this half doesn’t hurt either.
  3. The D has been amazing, but I hope I never see them again.
  4. Maybe I’m just a curmudgeon, but watching that replay in what is basically a playoff game… get into the end zone before you celebrate. Don’t worry, I’m not too angry.
  5. He gained yards with that interception.
  6. The second they started going the other way I said to myself “of course they’re going to score”.
  7. I miss millibank. He would have won this thread, right?
  8. They lost the lottery for Ovechkin and had to “settle” for Malkin. If they had landed Ovechkin, they would have had lesser odds in the Crosby lottery coming out of the lockout. So who knows how the balls fall if they had Ovechkin instead. That was one hell of a consolation prize right there. Outside of Crosby, that draft was incredibly weak. Settling for the second best hall of famer one year, helping you luck your way into one of the best who ever lived the following year… sign me up please.
  9. You mean that exact matchup that most teams are going to try to exploit?
  10. It’ll be fun watching that Sabres mask play the rest of the year in Rochester.
  11. If the bills win the division they are the 2 seed and KC the 3. So you’d have 1-2-3 and someone else in the second round. 2-3 always play each other no matter who the 4th team would be.
  12. The bills and chiefs cannot face each other in the AFC championship if the bills win the east. It would have to be a week earlier.
  13. Edna? She probably still has a rotary phone and has no clue how to use the internet.
  14. And at that point, you've been through enough leap years to add on an extra half month.😁
  15. They’re taking defensemen this year?
  16. He has 9 pro games under his belt, all played before the age of 20. It’s tough to write any book based on that. He’s a very valuable commodity at this point and the team has to move some of them at some point. Whether it’s him or someone else, there will be plenty of interest around the league.
  17. Does it have anything to do with the people moving in though? The contractors out here do whatever the hell they want to. The neighbors aren’t telling them to park in front of the hydrant or in the middle of the street (not kidding on that one).
  18. $13.5 million expiring between Bertuzzi/Domi/Brodie. If they go cheap on the replacements, there’s your answer. And then there’s ~$22 million expiring for Tavares/Marner the following year. The lacrosse guy’s nephew will be finding a new home with his 35+ contract.
  19. I had the same problem in the past. Even now, anytime anyone is doing any work in the neighborhood, the contractors block my driveway, parked 3 feet off the curb. Have you ever considered calling to report an illegally parked vehicle?
  20. The 19-20 year old across the street from me has the loudest damn car imaginable. He uses a remote start every single time and leaves it running constantly. There are times where he has to use the remote start 2-3 times because it times out before he actually tries to get in the car. Did I mention that he does this at 3 am and the car is essentially parked right outside my bedroom window? Even his parents hate the car.
  21. That girl in college who was absolutely insane? No, not a single time.
  22. Speaking of that. At one point in the last year I decided to play this game and converted by age to months. It just so happened to be the exact day that I hit 500.
  23. You know what? I'm going to call him a 1 year and 363 day old for the rest of the day. Fun times coming up this weekend. But I wouldn't call me mildly amused. That hot coffee got my hand this morning instead of his head. Yeah, I'd call that a victory, but I'm sure as hell not amused.
  24. Over and over I watch my wife walk into a room and leave her phone and a drink in the same exact spot. Time after time, our one year old (who is known for grabbing anything he can off of a counter top) immediately grabs that phone and drink. She says that he needs to learn that he can't just grab anything he wants. Honestly, he may learn that first before she learns her lesson.
