  1. Past hour
  2. It might not be popular right now, but I have long term high hopes for Noah Östlund. His rookie year second half in the AHL was great as a 21 year old. He’s silky out there. He’s not close to being an NHL player, but he has the makings of a true top six forward down the line.
  3. He was always linked in trade proposals by NYR fans for Eichel back in the day. lol
  4. Huck.... lower your expectations. lol The Sabres are getting none of that.
  5. I disagree. He played four years of college hockey. Hes played 106 AHL games and 44 in the NHL. He turns 24 in three weeks. Last season for the Amerks he played big minutes and in all situations, and was on the ice to close games out. He is as ready as it gets. Either he needs to prove his worth with the Sabres - who picked him in the first round, or change organizations and give it a go somewhere else. Either way, the time is now for Johnson to show what he's got. He can't be in the AHL forever.
  6. Piss off? Better? Your question was dumb. Yes, there are such things as dumb questions
  7. Thanks for the re-pin. You know “why,” so I’m not sure why you’re asking.
  8. Pegula has. And 5 years in the NHL w no playoffs for a GM is to long. And I ain't your mate.
  9. Blow what? Steam?
  10. We’ll be hasn’t been around 14 yrs mate.
  11. So you would have done what?
  12. 14 years. Blow off
  13. Because they both suck at their jobs. 14 years
  14. Why? Why?
  15. Hard to take too much out of these training, but one player ive heard that has impressed this weekend has been Luke Osburn.
  16. They'll have a trophy tomorrow for the winning team.
  17. That photo makes me want to punch palm trees. It's a photo of perfect ineptitude.
  18. I'd say all of them....but we barely have real cap room to bring anyone of significance in. Our team is a sack of sorry potatoes.
  19. We have a two page thread dedicated to a defenceman making 775k for 3 years who is going to probably play in Rochester next year. Our team blows.
  20. It's awful. Power, awful contract. Cozens, awful contract. Samuelson, awful contract. UPL, mildly awful contract. Norris, awful contract to take on. Skinner buyout/original contract was awful. None of the things I mentioned above are considered hindsight opinions by many. Not a single contract I mentioned offered us high level impact. We suck.
  21. He’s just not mature enough yet. He was the youngest player in the AHL last year. And he had a nice second half. He was also decent in the playoffs. But he needs to build off of that. He’s not better than anyone in Buffalo yet. And to me, making the Sabres better is not making them younger with untested Amerks prospects.
  22. Personally, have very high hopes for Kesselring too. And maybe he could be not only a great partner for Power, but maybe Dahlin as well. Give them some flexibility in how to deplay the backliners. But, just can't get past how well Power and Bernard-Docker looked together. Also, have made no secret of it, am no fan at all of Wilford. Am very concerned that they won't find as good a pairing as that was. And if Kesselring & Power are a great pairing will be very happy to be wrong about being concerned about them letting a guy that will likely be no more than a journeyman, if not in the correct situation, go off on his journey.
  23. Pretty sad that they are that close to the cap and they still suck big giant salty balls compared to the rest of the league. Our favorite team is a clown show.
  24. He's not ready.
  25. I guess the follow-up question would be, did Adams try and get JBD signed before a decision on a qualifying offer had to be made? If he did and there was no interest in extending, then I can see the logic. If no attempt was made to get him on a 1-2 year deal at $900-950 K, then I think it was a mistake. Fatal? Of course not. I would rather have JBD as the #7 than Bryson (right shot, bigger, 3 years younger, higher pedigree).
