What do you want to see from the Sabres in last 37 games?

1) play at least a 1.2 points per game pace.  If they play at that level next year , it makes them at worst a playoff contender  Since the All-Star Break Sabres are 25GP 11W 10L 4OT   good for a 1.04 clip. slightly below the 1.20 PPG clip i wanted.  If Season started after All Star Break Sabres would be 2 points out of a wildcard spot

2) more games for Quinn, JJ and Krebs    Krebs has become a regular, not so for JJ and Quinn but they are tearing up the AHL

3) UPL returning and playing well   Not looking Good

4) sign Power   Still looking Good

5) sign Johnson  Still looking good

6)improved health for Mitts - Back in lineup since Feb 19  21PG  2G 10A   (7 points in last 8 games)

7) skinner 30 goals plus Looking good

8-  improved offence from Cozens Still a work in Progress   25GP 1G 13A

9) confidence from Dahlin. Both ends of the ice CRUSHING IT   Fast becoming a star in the league

10) becoming a thorn in the side of the top teams in their division 2-0 Vs Leafs  but 0-2 vs Florida

When you take an overview of your extended list you can see positive signs in almost every category. It's not so much a great leap forward as it is a line of demarcation where the arrow of progress is pointing in the right direction. Not so long ago it seemed that this team was irretrievable stuck in the mud. That's not the case any longer. The team is starting to win and earn points at a respectable pace. For the most part, even when it loses you can see the how much more competitive this team was compared to the recent past. An example of that is the last Florida game compared to the pummeling of the first Florida game.
