Finally getting around to watching Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. First season was very good.

Caveat: I am easily pleased by Star Trek. I like it all, pretty much. Even Discovery (though I do need to get back to that, since I kind of trailed off).

Anderson is a superb filmmaker. Loved Boogie Nights and There Will Be Blood among many others. Both are masterpieces. His short film Cigarettes and Coffee is really good.

I'm a huge Star Trek fan going back to when my older brother got me to watch the original when it was on TV in the 60s. 

Absolutely LOVE Strange New Worlds. Have watched every episode so far. Love the mixture of lighter, humorous and really artistic episodes. And plenty of omage to the OG.

Season 1 to me was the best series of any kind I have seen in a long time.  Season 2 was a bit different, but just as good.   Season 3 to me was a slight step behind, but I still enjoyed it.
