Hopefully we can keep this discussion kosher, but I thought a good dialogue was happening about this before:

No mention of what the limits are, but theres the answer some were looking for on how this will work with at least the NWHL: if you were born female then whatever your testosterone levels are you are allowed to play in the NWHL, as long as you are not undergoing hormone therapy. If you were born male and have transitioned or will be transitioning, you must show hormone levels consistent with other female athletes. 

 

In the case of Harrison from the Beauts, he has not begun hormone treatments, and is therefore still within the bounds of the league rules, even though he has changed how he would like to be designated.

Interesting. I think that makes sense. You don't want to count women out who might have naturally high testosterone levels, but if they're obviously receiving hormone treatment then that's when the line gets drawn.
