Seriously, what a great miniseries that was, and it was based on true stories. Wonderful. Heroes. Agree 100%. We could lace up Guarnere and Toye right now - in their mid-80s and with artificial legs - and they'd still be tougher than Kalinin, Tallinder and Lydman. Just started re-reading Ambrose's Band of Brothers book - I started it a while ago, but it got pushed to the back burner and I never finished. So I am picking it up from scratch and really enjoying it more, now that I can give time to reading and thinking about it, rather than just skimming through quickly.
