Ah. I guess I've been away from Buffalo too long.
There is a local bar that serves the Genny Cream on tap.
It's probably the most stereotypical beer for Buffalo I could come up with. I know there are better beers from the area, but nothing screams Buffalo like Genny Cream..... okay, I get what Screamers means now. ;)

Dough mixer at bimbo bakeries
There's a big Bimbo bakery a couple miles from me. Right next to it is a Miller-Coors brewery. I never know if the yeasty smell I can smell when the wind is right is the wonderful smell of bread baking or the odor of stale beer.

I think they should sign him for one more year. I doubt it happens. But the guy deserves a retirement from the Sabres on better terms. I certainly hope he'll be able to hook on with the Sabres in an off-ice capacity when his playing days are done.

I like the idea of possibly acquiring one of Edmonton's young forwards, but I'd be looking more at a guy like Eberle. We have a lot of center depth already, Nugent-Hopkins doesn't seem like a guy Murray would be after.
Sure, no problem with that thought. I was thinking more the general idea and just threw RNH out there as a possibility.

What if Edmonton shocks the world and passes on McDavid or Darcy trades all his picks for next two years to move up and grab McDavid
Not saying it wouldn't happen (although I doubt it would), but the last time this happened it led to a couple of Stanley Cup championships for the team that got the picks/prospects and a single SCF appearance for the team that got the superstar (Lindros).

I agree and think TM's comments and demeanor since the draft selection are done very purposefully. I mean, at what point would he have truly EXPECTED to get that first pick.....I just don't believe it. I admit I don't know why he is putting out the whoa-is-me act about not getting that #1 though. Maybe it'll make sense in time?
I don't think he expected it, but there were two possible outcomes: The Sabres get #1 (YAY!!!) or they get #2 (the alternative to YAY!!!) All you're looking at is the alternative to YAY!!!
